Newsflash: It’s miserably cold out and is probably going to stay miserably cold for the better part of the next three months. So, until the weather gets it together and gives me the spring breeze and sunshine I deserve, I’m wearing this fleece pullover constantly. L’oreal’s Rouge Signature Lightweight Matte Colored Ink
So obviously Nars Powermatte is my gold standard when it comes to longwear liquid lipsticks of the matte variety. But because there’s literally no reason to stop exploring new pout products (coining a phrase, you heard it here first), I recently added this to my collection and am VERY excited about it. It’s L’oreal’s Rouge Signature Lightweight Matte Colored Ink. It’s very unique — much lighter than any other liquid lipstick I’ve tried, so is really nice for everyday when you don’t want to reapply every two seconds, but aren’t ready for a real dramatic lip. Perhaps that’s why they call it “ink” — it’s more than a traditional “stain” but less than a lipstick. It stays on super long and somehow doesn’t dry at all. Halfbaked Harvest’s Chocolate Banana Bread
Do you ever bake something so amazing that you start hoarding its ingredients so you can always make it any time a sudden craving shows up? That’s the case with Halfbaked Harvest’s Chocolate Banana Bread. I made this last week and it’s so delicious that I’m literally about to close my laptop and go bake it again. If you’re a fan of delicious things made in loaf pans, this one’s a winner. Pro-tip: Err on the side of leaving it in the oven too long to bake than too short. There’s nothing worse than realizing your loaf is starting to cave in the middle 30 minutes after you remove it from the oven because it didn’t quite bake through the center. I may have learned this the hard way…

They’re genius for topping a whole wheat English muffin with an egg, which has been my breakfast of choice lately.
The Assassination of Gianni Versace
You may have noticed that the miniseries we’ve all been waiting to Netflix has finally arrived on Netflix. The Assassination of Gianni Versace is just so good. Darren Criss as Andrew Cunanan is brilliant, so good in fact that he won the Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Limited Series or Movie. It’s a deeply troubling story beautifully told. Also Penelope Cruz as Donatella Versace is everything.
Ice Rollers
Have you been seeing these on your Instagram feeds on and off for a couple years? I’m here to tell you I’ve been secretly ice rolling for YEARS. If I have any true skin “secret weapon” it’s ICE. Honestly, I’ve been doing some form of facial icing since high school (first with just ice packs and now with this handy roller).
