I’ve sung the praises of the Elemis Pro-Collagen Cleansing Balm before, but since I just emptied what seems to be my 400th jar of this stuff, I thought it was time for a reprise. It’s a cleanser that I absolutely swear by for ridding your skin of makeup and general grime that can build up over the course of the day. I don’t even know if "cleanse" is the right word this stuff works so well—it dissolves everything you don’t want on your face and washes it blissfully away… while also moisturizing your skin. For a deeper dive into cleansing (I have strong opinions on how to do it right), you can check out my post entirely dedicated to the topic of how to properly clean your face. AND, if you're a fan of this Elemis cleansing balm or if you're interested in giving it a try, the Elemis team was nice enough to offer my readers an amazing offer: by going to this page, you can get a FREE Deluxe Travel Size Pro-Collagen Cleansing Balm with a luxury cleansing cloth. You pay only $5 shipping (and taxes, where applicable). Get 'em while they're hot!
I love a phone case that’s also a cardholder, but they do present a dilemma for those of us who also want to add popsockets/phone holders to our phones. That’s why I love this case that doesn’t make me choose. The hard back conceals your cards while also allowing for a strong surface to adhere your phone holder of choice, which for me right now, is actually this ring holder/stand.
As you may have gathered by now, I love throwing cocktail parties. They’re not as big of a commitment as a dinner, but still offer a welcoming environment for guests to gather and enjoy each other’s company. The problem: it’s really hard to eat standing up with a glass of wine in your hand. These cocktail plates that have a built in wine holder are the most elevated option I’ve seen yet for providing a genius solve for those of us who can’t locate convenient counter space on which to set our wine so that we can eat shrimp. Whew, so glad this has been solved.
True story: A few months ago I saw a woman in my hair salon wearing these, and planned to ask her where she got them once my shampoo session was over. Horrifically, once I emerged from the sinks, she’d already left and these mystery sandals with their perfect gold beading detail have been haunting me ever since. I have now found them, due to a VERY fortunate Amazon scroll, and immediately ordered them in Cognac. I've been wearing them like crazy over the past week and they are SO SO COMFORTABLE. Also, how great is it that they’re under $70?!
Per my recent commute essentials post, I am a fan of being prepared and this organizer by Trish McEvoy is precisely what I’m talking about. Genius pockets for transporting your essential cosmetics in a pouch that’s wisely sized for your work bag. Note: It does not come with the products shown, this is just the organizer, and you fill it with your must-haves. Trish McEvoy also makes “palette pages” that snap into this organizer like a three-ring binder from when you were a kid. I'm SOLD.
Anyone else really excited about the prospect of wearing actual PANTS in fall weather again? The first pair I go for will be these Veronica Beards because I'm a sucker for a wide leg that gives a long, structured silhouette. Also, this olive color is just delish. Yes, I am daydreaming about post-baby pants, please allow me this indulgence.
Hear this: Cardigans are going to play a MAJOR role in your fall and winter style, so start your moodboards now, beginning with this delightfully cozy and lovingly detailed little number. I love a good exaggerated sleeve, and the wrap detailing beautifully accentuates the waist which really brings something new to your closet that hasn’t been hanging in there forever as a back-of-desk-chair cardigan. (We all have them.) While I’m at it, how gorgeous is this shade of blue?
Since the baby countdown is on, I just purchased this maternity nightgown, as well as this one for the hospital but also for the first few weeks that I’m recovering and feeding. I came across this new-to-me brand, Ekouaer, on Amazon and was delighted by the quality and softness once they arrived. You really can’t beat the convenience of a zipped nightgown at this pricepoint. While the first nightgown is nursing/maternity-specific, the second is not and perfect for anyone looking for a roomy nightgown!
I was recently introduced to SmartSweets and I love both their products and their mission. Smart Sweets are gummy candies that were created for people who love candy (*fidgets nervously*), but hate the negative effects of sugar. Each bag (yes, entire bag) has only 3 grams of sugar, and there are no artificial flavors, artificial colors, or sugar alcohols at all. Fans of peach rings, Sour Patch Kids, and gummies of all kinds will be so relieved to taste these delicious gummy wonders!
