    Hatch Maternity Tanks

As I round third on my third pregnancy, I’ve come to reflect on pregnancy fashion. I’ve spent a collective 2+ years carrying children in my abdomen, so I feel confident reporting that Hatch carries the absolute best maternity styles in general, but let these maternity tanks be your gateway drug. These tank tops are ribbed, soft and stretchy, perfect for layering, and they have a good amount of length for your changing size. There’s just something about the weight and quality that makes them a cut above the rest and worth every penny.

    Miracle Milkookies

Attention all breastfeeding mamas: Get ready for some cookies and some science. Miracle Milkookies are handmade, delivered-to-your-door lactation cookies that help boost your milk supply. That’s right friends: Eat more cookies, make more milk. These (scrumptious) cookies contain oats, yeast, and flaxseed, a dream team of ingredients when it comes to milk production. I’ve tested several different kinds of lactation cookies and supplements, and these are at the top of my list—both in terms of how amazing they taste and (of course) how well they WORK. There was a notable increase in my supply after eating them and a noticeable…

    Laptop Desk

In addition to the pillow above, I used this laptop desk from bed when I needed to address my inbox, etc. during postpartum recovery. The height is adjustable, and it’s conveniently wider than the width of a laptop itself, so there’s plenty of room for my phone, etc. There’re also really smart guards at the bottom to prevent things from sliding off if you’d like to use the desk at an incline.

    Hatch x J. Crew

In very very exciting news for pregnant women, Hatch and J.Crew have collaborated on maternity workwear (and everywhere-wear) and it’s stunning. There are such beautifully structured clothes for maternity days and well beyond—that’s kind of Hatch’s whole thing—so investing in these pieces for your pregnancy isn’t in any way limiting you to only wear them during pregnancy. They’re an incredibly smart style investment, and because they’re J.Crew, too, you can expect the classic silhouettes, tones, and prints you’ve always loved, just upgraded. I’m buying everything.

    Ekouaer Maternity Nightgowns

Since the baby countdown is on, I just purchased this maternity nightgown, as well as this one for the hospital but also for the first few weeks that I’m recovering and feeding. I came across this new-to-me brand, Ekouaer, on Amazon and was delighted by the quality and softness once they arrived. You really can’t beat the convenience of a zipped nightgown at this pricepoint. While the first nightgown is nursing/maternity-specific, the second is not and perfect for anyone looking for a roomy nightgown!

    Evidence-Based Birth

In the last 8.5 months or so, I’ve learned that there are LOTS of opinions out there on pregnancy and childbirth (shocker). As you can imagine, it can be really overwhelming to try to discern who’s right or wrong. Receiving very stern DMs over breakfast that I ABSOLUTELY CAN NOT EAT PINEAPPLE, etc., can start to wear on you after awhile. But there is one resource that I’ve found to be really trustworthy and calming, Evidence Based Birth, and I really recommend it to anyone currently planning a family. The site contains unbiased summaries of scientific research on common pregnancy…

    Asos Maternity

Hooray. For. ASOS. While they’ve long been a favorite for fun, affordable fashion, I have recently discovered their maternity section and have been living in this dress, this lounge set and this lounge set recently.  Not only do I love their selection of maternity clothing, but it’s also just so affordable. So, even if you only end up wearing things for a few months during your pregnancy, that’s okay because you haven’t sunk your future kid’s college fund in maternity sweats. Basically I’m saying that shopping at Asos = financial planning.
