The Best Chocolate Chip Cookie in NYC
Lately I’ve been conducting extensive researching into a very important matter: What is the best chocolate chip cookie in NYC. After months of exploration, comparison, and intense invaluation in the name of science, I can confidently say that the best chocolate chip cookie in NYC is located at Culture Espresso. I highly advise you to get your hands on one or 17 of these scrumptious treats immediately. Yes, there are more than a few outstanding chocolate chip cookie options in our fair city. So really, the winner of this contest is us. But overall, you know where I stand. And snack.
Clinique ID
Fashion Week is never short on the fun stuff. This year, one experience that’s stood out is the Clinique Face ID pop-up in Soho, where you can have your face scanned and a customized skin regimen recommended to you based on the results. Yes, it’s as cool as it sounds. If you don’t actually live here, don’t feel left out. Clinique is sending a version of this pop-up “on tour” across the country. This digital diagnostic (thank you, yes I’m a scientist) will roll out to Clinique counters everywhere over the next year, so keep an eye out. As for the pop up, dates and locations are: Los Angeles (Feb 16th-17th at The Grove), and San Francisco (Feb 23rd & 24th at SF Centre, Feb 27th & 28th at The Metreon.)
Bath Pillow
Baths are much better when they encourage you to stay in them as long as possible. Which is why I’m a massive fan of this bath pillow that essentially turns my tub into a chaise lounge full of water. Brb have to go buy more bubbles.
To Kill A Mockingbird On Broadway
Ummm….maaaaybeee stop what you’re doing and buy tickets to see To Kill A Mockingbird on Broadway? Right now? Cool. I recently saw this and it’s a must see. Take me seriously here, Aaron Sorkin did a masterful job of reimagining this story for today’s audience. Also Jeff Daniels as Atticus…simply sublime. This is your next night at the theater, 100%.
Giorgio Armani’s Fluid Master Primer
I recently had the misfortune to run out of my favorite Make Up For Ever primer (cue the tears) and had Giorgio Armani’s Fluid Master Primer conveniently sitting in my drawer, so I tried it. It’s amazing. My make up during fashion week hasn’t budged, which is akin to a miracle. I was skeptical because it has a slightly oily texture when you first squeeze it out of the bottle, but it doesn’t stay that way at all. I’ve also found it to be really nice during the dry winter months when we need something a little more moisturizing.
Shadow Shields
If you are not yet using Shadow Shields, get it together. Shadow Shields are little under-eye Post-It Note-like thingies that catch falling eyeshadow debris while you’re applying your makeup and keep it from ruining your otherwise perfectly contoured and blended cheeks. We’re talking about makeup chivalry here, friends.

Looks like I know what I will be doing as soon as there’s a break in today’s snow – or maybe it will have to wait until tomorrow 😉 – but I must try those chocolate chip cookies 😀 Gooey, warm, soft – YUM! Also, that bath pilow looks like a blessing in disguise, I actually think my mom might really enjoy it!

Just was at the Clinique counter and did the Clinique ID – love it! I will be 50 in a few weeks and even the sales girl was surprised (or just a great sales girl!). I’ve used Clinique for 30 years and they just keep getting better. 🙂
