Apple Watch Series 4

There will definitely be a full review after my new Apple Watch and I have spent more quality time together, but for now let me just say: two big thumbs up. I finally took the plunge and got an Apple Watch when they announced the newest model in early September, and while I’ve only had it for a few weeks, so far I LOVE IT.  The step counter, the reminders to stay active, and the ability to quickly see social/text/email notifications is absolutely amazing.  I also really like the new heart rate functionality—it is incredibly useful while working out and targeting certain heart rate zones.

A Star Is Born

Sick of hearing about this movie yet?  Sorry. I saw it for the first time last night and I can emphatically confirm that the hype is very, very real.  This movie is SO GOOD and you need to see it, just be prepared to bring a kleenex or two.  Literally text your girlfriends right this minute and make plans. I could write an entire blog post on Bradley Cooper’s hair alone but I think I’ll just let you make this discovery for yourselves.  I also kind of really want to go back and watch the Judy Garland and Barbra Streisand versions now.

Thai Peanut Ramen Recipe

I chronicled my first foray into making this recipe last week on Instastories , and while I’m not necessarily Julia Child when it comes to cooking tutorials, I can confirm that this recipe by Half Baked Harvest is a KEEPER. Absolutely delicious, easy, and perfect for cozy fall nights (now that the weather is cooperating). Huge thanks to Liz Adams of Sequins & Stripes for this amazing find!

Pinch Provisions

You’ve seen ‘em a million times, but there’s a reason for that.  I simply love this brand. Not only are their Minimergency Kits total lifesavers (their bridal kit literally saved my entire wedding) but they also make completely adorable, useful gifts.  Apparently, they’re celebrating their 10 year anniversary this year and I say cheers to the next 10!

Boscia Cleansing Oil

You know I’m obsessed with oil cleansers, and this product is a new favorite.  The endless quest to find a cleanser that does it’s job and also doesn’t make my face feel like dry ancient ruins afterwards is always a winner.  Also, I love it when brands make mini sizes of my favorite products for travel. (Unless you actually have time to distribute your favorite products into a million teeny vials, in which case—please come run my life.)

Dyson Airwrap Styler

This hair styling device from the future was announced last week, and needless to say, I ordered it the next morning.  It hasn’t arrived yet, so stay tuned for a full report, but I have high, high hopes for this sucker.  If you don’t know what I’m talking about (perhaps you were on a digital detox—if so, I’m jealous), check out the video here, and prepare to be amazed.  Is Dyson the new Apple of personal care?

Lululemon Ballet Collection

Last week I shared my new favorite workout wear collection, a collab between Lululemon and principal dancer Francesca Hayward. While I opted for an all-black ensemble (as I too often do), I also really love the other gorgeous fall hues in the collection, too. I also got these insanely soft pants and can’t wait to watch Netflix…err I mean work out in them.  I also just ordered this pullover which isn’t part of the collection but how cute/comfy?!
