VERY EXCITING NEWS. Due to the incredible response to the locket I created in collaboration with Monica Rich Kosann, we have gotten word that we can re-open one more presale since the lockets (which were launched last Monday) sold out in the blink of an eye. We were initially able to open a small pre-order for those who missed out and if you placed your pre-order by last Friday (10/28/22), rest-assured, you will receive those lockets by Christmas. Now, due to the existing demand, we are opening ONE LAST PRE-ORDER (truly this is it) which will ship in 9-11 weeks, just in time for Valentine’s Day! Birkenstock Boston Clogs
I wasn’t sure this day would ever arrive, but it has. I finally caved and got a pair of Boston Birkenstocks. It took me a while to warm up to them but they’re casual and comfortable and the shearling-lined style is basically a house slipper you’re allowed to wear outdoors. I LOVE. But here is a PRO TIP! If you are struggling to find them in stock (they’re sold out everywhere), here’s the shopping hack that worked for me: You’ll notice that this style in stone is sold out in all regular sizes, but if you click “Narrow” there are several sizes left. My foot is not particularly narrow (I only ever purchase the standard “medium” width shoes) but by selecting the narrow option and going up one full size, I somehow was able to get a pair of Bostons that fit perfectly. No, this does not make any sense to me either. I’d heard this for years and thought it was an urban legend until I tried it for myself with these and it worked perfectly.
OPI Red Nail Nail Polish
A swipe of red nail polish is like a statement lip, the perfect finishing touch to any outfit in any season. Between cherry and crimson and scarlet and merlot—there are a zillion shades to choose from. I’ve tried approximately one million of them and can confidently name my top two bright red favorites: Big Apple Red is a bold red that’s one of OPI’s highest selling shades and for a slightly deeper, hue with a cherry undertone, I absolutely love Thrill of Brazil.
Zara Bouclé Long Vest
Zara’s new arrivals are here and their return address is Heaven. Seriously, how gorgeous is this Double Breasted Camel Bouclé Vest? Pairing sleeveless coats like this with a chunky knit is my go-to uniform when I’m running errands because it keeps your core warm, while leaving your arms free to lift groceries and small humans. I also added this Striped Scarf to my order.
Crystal Colorful Hoop Earrings
These 18ct Gold-Plated Crystal Bay Hoop Earrings from Scandinavian brand Anni Lu are as unique and beautiful as it gets. The chunky gold-plated hoop is adorned with multi-colored jewels and opals that look like they could have inspired the song “Shiny” from Moana. Now I can walk into holiday parties like a treasure from a sunken pirate wreck which has been a life-long goal.
Donni Corduroy Loungewear
Cool girl leisurewear brand Donni has given their classic cotton silhouettes a makeover with an assist from fall favorite: corduroy. Their all-natural cotton corduroy is extra soft and breathable with a textural rib stitch. It’s hard to pick a favorite color but the Cord Button Down + Cord Pleated Trouser set in this bright seasonal Pine colorway is comfortable enough for lounging in your sheets, but cute enough for hitting the streets. Sometimes I rhyme.
Furbish Studio Needlepoint Pillows
Maybe it’s the Coastal Grandmother in me, but I just love a needlepoint pillow. However, these Furbish Studios needlepoints aren’t your grandmother’s needlepoints—they have cheeky phrases hand-embroidered in colorful patterns. The Filthy Animal Needlepoint Pillow has quickly become my most-prized possession but I think the nice things pillow and this anti-social Ariel pillow would make super fun gifts.
Lingua Franca Wallpaper
One of my favorite custom sweater brands now makes wall coverings inspired by its embroidery and they are STUNNING. It’s impossible to pick a favorite from their collection, but I love the illusion of this cable knit wallpaper and this whimsical stripe is a close second.
Ciao Luci Tomayo Cardigan
I don’t have a doctorate in sweater season, but I definitely consider myself a PhD candidate. Therefore, I can say with a high-degree of authority that this Tomayo Cardigan from Ciao Lucia is a closet hero you will wear like crazy for years. It is arguably the perfect cardigan. Mid-weight, cable-but-not-your-typical cable knit, collared neckline, tortoise buttons… just perfect and so versatile. It’s almost like a jacket!

This Wool Melton Peacoat from Michael Kors is truly the coat of my autumnal dreams. It’s soft and structured without being bulky, and it’s the happiest burst of marigold that will make you a welcome ray of sunshine as we move farther and farther into the cold weather months. Blister Protection
I am personally offended by shoes that aren’t immediately comfortable, but sometimes a pair is so beautiful, it’s worth the time (and potential blisters) to break them in. When I do have to do this, I rely on these silicone heel protectors and toe covers because let’s be real, the phrase “beauty is pain” need not exist.
My Favorite Theory Cable Knit Sweater Is 60% Off!
I bought this Mixed Cable Pullover from Theory in Military green and Ivory last year and it quickly became my favorite sweater of all time. I truly can’t think of a sweater I’ve ever loved more. The cut is so flattering—it’s slightly boxy and cropped but long enough to cover your zipper. I wore it in this recent video and my DMs were ablaze with requests. Much to my surprise, I found the sweater in stock and 70% off on Theory’s outlet website and 60% over at Saks Off Fifth. Now I’m doing the mental gymnastics to rationalize ordering a backup in case anything ever happens to my ivory version.

The Empress On Netflix
If you miss Downton Abbey and are counting down the days until the next season of The Crown drops, The Empress is a must-watch. The six-part Netflix series follows the true story of Empress Elisabeth of Austria. It’s romantic and dramatic and will fill the void until we get another season of The Great.
