(Obviously speaking post-pandemic here.) The NightCap is a little extra security against something being slipped into your drink, which is honestly such a boost of comfort and confidence. Well, I’ve found them. The ultimate leather pants, with a high waist, a belt detail, and pleats for crying out loud! They’re by Philosophy Di Lorenzo Serafini, and feature the most luxurious looking faux black leather I’ve ever laid eyes on. The cut and the belt ensure this beauty always gives you a great shape, and they act as a sort of elevating canvas for any top you’d like to pair with them.
Easter/Spring Decor
While it’s entirely possible that I’ll be spending my Easter actually giving birth, that won’t stop me from getting excited about spring and Easter home decor. This charming basket is perfect for Easter but will be super useful… literally all the time. I’m so enamored with the colors of these alabaster eggs. I’m also losing it over the cuteness of these outdoor decorations that are absolutely begging me to place them in the yard for an Easter egg hunt. Coco would lose it. (We both would, tbh.) It’s entirely possible that these are the most breathtaking egg decorations ever designed, and this bunny wreath is so charming I might leave it out all year.
Labor and Delivery Gowns
This weekend I packed my hospital bag so it’s ready to go whenever this little lady decides to make an appearance. I’m planning to share a comprehensive list of my hospital bag must-haves, but until then, wanted to share two labor and delivery gowns which I highly recommend. These gowns are specifically designed for labor, delivery, and post-birth, and they’re absolutely essential. I wore this one giving birth to Colette and it was ideal in every way. The key is finding a gown that snaps up the front, as opposed to having a closed front or zipper front. The snaps allow you to unsnap one button at the belly for fetal monitoring during labor and you can also easily unsnap the top for skin-to-skin right after the baby arrives. This version is very similar and is another great option with snaps in front AND back if you plan to or need to get an epidural.
