The title kind of says it all, but I’m never one to leave you wanting for details. This amazingly affordable cashmere cableknit sweater is stunning in person and incredibly soft. It’s an oversized piece in a tunic style, and I’ve ordered it in the cream and navy colorways. One tip: Make sure you pay attention to the actual measurements in the product description since it’s listed as “one size fits all.”
Fun fact, it’s actually Women’s History Month all month long, too! If you’re looking for a meaningful way to spend the day (or month), I love the idea of donating to women’s organizations you love. We’ll be donating to Dress For Success, one of our favorites. Another cool option: checking out these digital exhibits curated by the National Women’s History Museum which explore various groups of trailblazing women.
Okay, if you haven’t explored the beautiful world of Maison de Carine, I implore you to put down whatever else you’re scrolling through and DELIGHT YOURSELF. I recently shared a fun tablescape on Instagram that’s helping us visually transport ourselves to the tropics instead of just to you know, our twelfth month of quarantine. Nearly everything on the table was scored at Maison de Carine where stunning tableware can be bought outright or even rented for a special event. There’s a registry too and design services to help you come up with the perfect tablescape if you’re overwhelmed by too many good options.
Unless you’re new around here, you’re likely familiar with Artis brushes because I have loved and raved about them for years. Countless brands have tried to duplicate their efficacy but honestly, no one has come close. They’re definitely an investment, but one that’s worth it because of how well they work and the fact that they actually save you money in the end. To start, they apply and blend makeup like no sponge or traditional brush can—we’re talking an airbrush finish here. Further, they don’t shed—EVER. Additionally, they’re made with densely-packed specialty fibers that won’t absorb your makeup, so you end up using far less product over time. Since your products will actually last longer by using these brushes, they’re saving you money. Right now, you can save 25% on your order by using the code 25MARYORTON. This is a rare opportunity, run don’t walk!
This aerosol-free continuous mist spray bottle has countless uses, and is such a smart, affordable purchase that can sneakily save you money. This bottle can be used for cleaning, ironing, hair-styling products, plant watering, and I’ve even seen people use it on social media for sunless tanning products.
If you’re a fan of the Great British Bake Off (who among us hasn’t rewatched a season even though it’s a competition and we already know the winner), you will absolutely love everything Nadiya Hussain has going on over at Netflix, including Nadiya Bakes and Nadiya’s Time To Eat. She is such a lovely person and her recipe ideas are often quick and super realistic for home cooks. I personally appreciate that she isn’t afraid to suggest shortcuts for busy professionals and parents. One recipe even uses a can of SpaghettiOs in a casserole and I gave her an 8-months pregnant standing ovation.
This is genius and such a necessary innovation. The NightCap is a scrunchie that’s hiding a very special secret. Tucked inside is a “cap” for your drink when you’re out at a crowded or dark venue. (Obviously speaking post-pandemic here.) The NightCap is a little extra security against something being slipped into your drink, which is honestly such a boost of comfort and confidence. There’s a small hole for a straw, too! It’s one more way to have fun safely and I love that. This would make a stellar gift, too!
If you love fine, vintage, and statement jewelry but find that gathering your own collection of these items is both hard work and expensive, Switch is the newest membership service for your sparkly tastes. It’s a borrow-and-return jewelry membership that gives you access to the jewelry you love, for as long as you want to wear it, and all the while you earn points to put toward future Switch purchases every month! If a Chanel necklace or a Gucci ring has felt out of reach, it’s REALLY nice to know that is not the case anymore. Honestly, the hardest part might be picking which Hermes bangle to get first.
I just ordered this pillow/stand/storage/wonderitem and I can’t wait for it to get here. The Flippy is a soft pillow-like piece that is made to hold your tech devices at perfect angles for watching/reading in bed. There’s even a storage pocket in the Flippy’s interior to store your snacks, I mean your phone, etc.! It’s three-sided and each side offers a different viewing angle, so you can always pick the perfect one for how you’re positioned in bed, on the couch, wherever really. The Flippy Stand comes in countless colors and I have a feeling there will be more than one of these in my household’s future.
Are anyone else’s hands, you know, cracking into oblivion? I need a hand sanitizer that I can toss in my bag and always trust to be there when I need it, but it would be great if it didn’t also leave my hands feeling like a dried-up old sponge. This spray is hydrating and sanitizing, reducing the number of things I have to keep in my bag and also just making this whole perpetually-disinfected thing a little more comfortable.
This is such a sweet gift for new moms. It’s a beautifully illustrated, 78-card deck designed to support moms with daily meditations, exercises, and affirmations that can be used through pregnancy, birth, and the early days of motherhood. Whether it’s their first child or not, this is a really thoughtful and useful gift for enjoying every minute of babyhood with their little ones.
Well, I’ve found them. The ultimate leather pants, with a high waist, a belt detail, and pleats for crying out loud! They’re by Philosophy Di Lorenzo Serafini, and feature the most luxurious looking faux black leather I’ve ever laid eyes on. The cut and the belt ensure this beauty always gives you a great shape, and they act as a sort of elevating canvas for any top you’d like to pair with them.
While it’s entirely possible that I’ll be spending my Easter actually giving birth, that won’t stop me from getting excited about spring and Easter home decor. This charming basket is perfect for Easter but will be super useful… literally all the time. I’m so enamored with the colors of these alabaster eggs. I’m also losing it over the cuteness of these outdoor decorations that are absolutely begging me to place them in the yard for an Easter egg hunt. Coco would lose it. (We both would, tbh.) It’s entirely possible that these are the most breathtaking egg decorations ever designed, and this bunny wreath is so charming I might leave it out all year.
This weekend I packed my hospital bag so it’s ready to go whenever this little lady decides to make an appearance. I’m planning to share a comprehensive list of my hospital bag must-haves, but until then, wanted to share two labor and delivery gowns which I highly recommend. These gowns are specifically designed for labor, delivery, and post-birth, and they’re absolutely essential. I wore this one giving birth to Colette and it was ideal in every way. The key is finding a gown that snaps up the front, as opposed to having a closed front or zipper front. The snaps allow you to unsnap one button at the belly for fetal monitoring during labor and you can also easily unsnap the top for skin-to-skin right after the baby arrives. This version is very similar and is another great option with snaps in front AND back if you plan to or need to get an epidural.
Hello,
I may have missed this information so please forgive me. Will you still be doing the 30 dresses in 30 days segment? One of my all time favorites. I realize things change, but wanted to just check for sure.
Thank you in advance!
