Sézane’s clothing is always jaw-droppingly good, but the brand really swung for the fences with their newest arrivals, particularly in the blouse category. You can’t even call clothing this good “tops.” It doesn’t properly communicate such beauty. These are blouses. Enjoy.
Little Girl’s Amazon Dress
The cuteness of the ruffled cuff and neckline of this dress is too much. Even better? It is extremely comfortable, washes well and moves with ease. We love this dress so much, we have ordered it in three colors. Colette’s only concern? “Um, Mother, it comes in five.”

I love keeping this simple phone stand device at my desk—it comes in handy so often. I had a previous version years ago, and after accidentally leaving it at a hotel I finally repurchased this one recently which has dramatically improved the functionality of my desk space. The Snack Olympics I mean Superbowl was yesterday, but let me be clear that we should all be ready and able to make delicious munchables at any point in the year (especially at any point in a pandemic). I made this chicken recipe recently which I appreciate for its ease, and its cheese. I will not be waiting for sports to make this again.
Suede Leggings
You might recall the famous leather leggings from Ann Taylor that I couldn’t stop raving about. (I mean, I still haven’t.) I was recently delighted to discover that Loft sells the SAME LEGGINGS in two gorgeous suede options that are joining my collection immediately. These leggings are insanely comfortable but also manage to effortlessly elevate your winter outfits.
Zip-Up Fleece Robe
Did my grandmother own several of these zip-up bathrobes? Yes. Am I now angry with myself for not copying her ways sooner? Also yes. This wearable cloud is a dream during my winter mornings, especially while pregnant when any ties around the waist are unwelcome. It’s also 100% going in my hospital bag. This audience is well aware of my love for vintage Chanel jewelry, or vintage Chanel anything. It might be the fact that Valentine’s Day is around the corner and I know Rich (sometimes?) reads these posts… but anyway, I can’t stop thinking about this necklace. Can you blame me? It’s a stunner. I mean, the name kind of says it all, but HOW CUTE IS THIS leather scrunchie? It’s been almost a full year of a pandemic, one where style is on the back burner and safety is #1. Every now and then, it’s really nice to find a stylish accessory you can wear every day and feel a little bit of a boost.
Needlepoint
I am currently very determined to get back into needlepointing because I have my heart set on making pillows for the girls’ room (how wild is that to say) like these or these. If you’re not ready for a large scale project yet, you can try a smaller embroidery project to get a feel for the fun of needle and thread vibes. There are several months left of winter, it’s time to get crafty.

Sometimes you just need to put on a sherpa matching set and let Netflix do its thing, you know? If your comfywear could use a little freshening up, check out the top and bottoms to the softest matching set ever. It actually gets cozier when paired with freshly popped popcorn. I’ve heard.
Maybelline Sky High Mascara
I love a good mascara discovery, but people…THIS IS THE ONE. This mascara is magical, achieving volume, separation, and length as I have NEVER experienced before. It’s incredible for the price point (or ANY price point), and if you need further proof, check out the reviews and know that beauty gurus are hoarding this stuff like crazy making it increasingly hard to find. I originally discovered it via @kathleenjenningsbeauty on Instagram who performed several comparison tests with much more expensive alternatives and this one was consistently the champion. Now that I have it in my possession (and speaking as someone who is EXTREMELY picky about mascaras) I can say that I’m officially amazed by its powers. I wear it in the “Washable Very Black” formulation and am amazed that I haven’t spotted a shred of smudging or flaking. For me, smudging under my eyes is a perpetual problem, even with formulas that seem to be smudge-proof on other people. However, this stuff does. not. budge. I absolutely love it.
Fondue Recipes
Last week, I shared my love of fondue sets, as this has quickly become one of my favorite quarantine activities. But, for those wondering what actually goes IN THEM, I thought I’d share some ideas: Rich and I will be enjoying two different fondue recipes on Valentine’s Day, one cheese, and one chocolate. Just trust me and DIP ALL THE THINGS IN THESE THINGS.

I am delighted to read that you will be making needlepoint pillows for your daughters. I am working on a project for my daughter that, when completed, will be a three dimensional Angel Bear with glittery wings and all!! The only problem is that she is now in her 30s… Nevertheless, doing needlepoint is my favorite winter activity. Please let us know your progress on your projects for your daughters!!💜
