Structure

While I love the idea of a good slouchy tote as much as the next person, sometimes you just need your bag to have a little backbone, you know? To be honest, I’m a little over the days of throwing all of my necessaries into a sloppy jalopy tote bag and praying that my laptop and other personal affects are still in one piece after sloshing around all day. For high-performance days when you’re commuting, traveling, racing between meetings, or juggling baby paraphernalia, you need a bag that has structure, offering your belongings both organization and protection. Pockets

It’s easier to stay organized when your bag does the heavy lifting for you, and the Maestra has pockets galore to help you do just that. There is nothing a Maestra cannot do. Like, if you asked her nicely, I’m pretty sure she’d make you breakfast. This bag can operate as a super polished work bag, a convenient carry-on tote, and even a fully-functional diaper bag for crying out loud. It is a veritable masterclass in multitasking. Instead of buying multiple bags for multiple purposes, you can just buy one Maestra and call it a very stylish day. Durable Leather

Oh, right, the quality. This is not a bag you carry for one season and then donate. This bag would be worth the investment if you could only wear it one way, but the Maestra can be worn four ways. Five actually, if you count, “Rich, hold this.” It can be worn as a classic satchel, a tote, a cross body, or as a backpack, my personal favorite option for when I need both my hands free to tend to HRH Colette’s needs and whims.

Feet

I know, this one’s a wildcard, right? I never thought I’d care this much about bag feet but here we are. The Senreve Maestra has metal feet that help to both protect the base, and also keep the bag upright. Feet seem like a small thing (lol, literally), but how many times have you wrestled with how to put down your tote bag without it falling over and having everything spill out? When your bag contains really valuable items like your laptop, tablet, etc., the feet keep those things in place and protected. It’s indicative of how much thought went into the bag’s design overall—no detail was left unaddressed.

BEAUTY!

Oh right, it’s also STUNNING. This bag is beautiful. So beautiful. Sometimes I just stare into it like a campfire. Not only is the Maestra completely polished and classic, but it’s also just a gorgeous piece of sartorial excellence. All of the reasons I invested in a Senreve Maestra mentioned above wouldn’t work if I didn’t also love the way this bag looks.
