The Nordstrom Clearance Sale categories include: womens, mens, kids, home, beauty, and designer—and because I know that’s a lot, you can also take a more curated look at the sale by shopping via their “New Markdowns” and “Sale Bestsellers” options. Better yet? Just shop my sale picks at the bottom of this post, but perhaps start with this perfect white summer dress.

As you can see by this (outstanding) Club Monaco dress I’m wearing, there are tons of high quality, classic, wear-forever pieces on enormous discount. I do not understand how this dress is under $100 other than to say that it’s 2020, and clearly the world has gone mad. The fabric is lightweight and comfortable, yet at the same time, thick and opaque enough so you never have to worry about your undergarments shining through.

It’s also worth mentioning that there are tons of incredible designer pieces included in the sale, significantly discounted.  When you’re shopping designers like Carolina Herrera, Lela Rose or St. John, you know that you’re making smart investments that are going to last a lifetime. And even while you’re making these investments, you’re still getting basically unheard of prices on everything you buy. So shop with plenty of closet confidence, knowing you’re taking good care of your present and future wardrobe.
