True & Co. Bralette
The quest for comfortable “it” bras can be endless, but I’ve just found a strong contender in the “bralette” category. True & Co’s bralette is seamless, convertible, incredibly well priced, and one of the most comfortable, effortless bras I’ve ever worn. This is perfect for anyone who’s been looking to go wireless, but not braless, more often.
Summersalt
We’ve all seen Summersalt’s (rather effective) Instagram advertising, but I also just found out that they launched loungewear and clothing perfect for travel! I’m always looking for high quality travel attire that feels like pajamas without also looking like pajamas. I grabbed this sweater and these joggers, and at this point, I really have to be convinced to wear anything else. (Btw, if you bundle these two pieces and buy them together, you’ll save $25!)
Sarah Flint Emma Heels
Clearly my obsession with this brand isn’t going anywhere. It certainly didn’t help that I saw my mom wearing these and instantly had to have them. (I got my own, I could never ask my mother to part with hers.) This pair is endlessly versatile and so elegant, they’re a strong contender for a cost-per-wear award that you’ll always be happy to have in your closet.
Intermix Brand
You know I’m not about to turn down a drapey silk blouse any time soon, but this one from Intermix’s in-house brand is truly something special. I always keep my eyes open for new pieces from Intermix’s line, because they are often so stunning and incredibly high quality for their price point. Also, the gold button shoulder detail? Come on now.
Lele Sadhougi Pearl Ear Warmer
I’ve secretly been an ear warmer fan for quite awhile, and I’m so excited to see them staging a comeback. They’re equally practical and adorable, because we have ears that need to stay toasty and a sense of style, thank you very much. Personally, I would opt to wear this pearl ear warmer styled with the back portion underneath my hair, but I think it would look equally amazing with your hair up or down. Ears without frostbite are always in fashion.
Posture Corrector
Desklife is out to get us, and we all need better posture. I’ve mentioned the Upright Go before, and I love it, but if you don’t want to get another gadget, I recently stumbled upon this posture-correcting brace, and its jaw-dropping Amazon ratings are all the marketing it needs.
Casual Interview Attire
If you’ve ever been somewhat stumped when styling yourself for an interview that didn’t feel quite “suit” appropriate, you’ll want to check out my recent post on outfits for casual interviews. This is great for anyone in the freelance or startup world, where business attire isn’t always called for, but a perfect outfit certainly is.
The Donut Pub
GIMME DONUTS. Sorry, lost my cool there for a second. The Donut Pub is my new local obsession because they (1) sell incredible, INCREDIBLE donuts and (2) also sell a salted caramel croissant donut which is SO MANY GOOD WORDS IN ONE SENTENCE and also life-alteringly delicious. If you’re in NYC, run don’t walk or… ORDER THEM RIGHT NOW ON SEAMLESS. Yes, this day will go down in history as the day donut delivery entered your life. Remember it always.
Spin Pins
If you wear your hair in a bun—ever—you need spin pins. They’re the key to your bun staying exactly where you want your bun to stay. Many of you are probably thinking “umm duh these are nothing new” but I shared them on Instagram recently and was a bit surprised by how many messages I got from people who had either never heard of them, or had somehow forgotten that they were the mother of all pins. Thus, I felt I needed to provide this PSA. Here’s to a lifetime of buns that don’t budge.
Otteroo
I love a fun baby product discovery (Colette does too, though she’ll never admit it) and this one actually helps babies learn to have fun and be comfortable with bath time even when they’re teeny! This Otteroo neck float is designed to comfortably keep your baby’s head above water while the bathwater supports their weight, so you no longer have to awkwardly hold and maneuver them while you bathe them! Many parents attest to their babies sleeping better, rolling over earlier, and being better swimmers later on after using this neck float. Honestly, I can’t tell you how much Colette LOVES this thing. Kinda want it in grown-up size, TBH.
