    Graze New York

Last weekend, I hosted a dozen or so family members at our house which turned out to be a bit more taxing than normal at eight months pregnant in sweltering heat. So, you better believe I called in backup. You know those gorgeous boards full of cheese, fresh produce, olives, dips galore—essentially edible works of art you see on Instagram? Graze New York makes them for you. If you’ve ever assembled a cheese plate or veggie board and found that it looked basic (and you were going for Botticelli) you need Graze in your life. Exclusive to the NYC area,…

    How To Make Frosé

Far more than just a delicious, drinkable Instagram opportunity, frosé is the frosty beverage begging to be on everyone’s rooftop this summer. Except mine. *Continues to type through soft sobs.* This frosé recipe is easy, delicious and a foolproof crowd-pleaser.

    Brava

Rich and I got this remarkable cooking solution a few months ago, and it has completely changed the way we cook. You’d think a Michelin-starred chef is cooking our meals now. The Brava uses first-of-its-kind, totally revolutionary light technology (first developed for the solar industry) to speed up cooking times (it can reach 500°F in under a second with no preheating), ensure higher-quality results, and allow you to cook multiple courses at once (to perfection). The New York Times calls it the “easy bake oven for grown ups” and applauds its ability to precisely cook everything from steaks to vegetables…

Half Baked Harvest BBQ Pineapple Chicken Bowls

You know I’m always making recipes from Half Baked Harvest, and that’s most likely because her recipes are simply the BEST. I made these barbecue pineapple chicken bowls for a few friends recently and they were DELISH (and so easy) for a relaxed summer night. Next on my list is this absolutely scrumptious looking lemon tart.

    Mocktails Book

So…this whole “having a baby” thing is kind of interfering with rooftop cocktail season, so I was thrilled to receive this book as a gift recently. I can already tell the creative concoctions within are going to keep me company (and keep me hydrated) all summer. The “strawberry thyme cooler” is first at bat…

    Indian Restaurants In London

I recently polled all of you via Instastories on an extremely important topic: The very best Indian restaurants in London. No small task, and you did not disappoint. After doing so, I received many requests to share the top recommendations for reference on your own upcoming trips to Britain’s capital, so here they are!  The most popular responses were: Gymkhana, Dishoom, Brigadiers, Veeraswammy, Chutney Mary, Cinnamon Club, Tayyabs. We ate at Gymkhana on Thursday night and as mentioned on instagram, I think I will dream about that meal until the day I die.  I’m completely obsessed with Indian cuisine so…

    Smorgasburg Reopens In April

Do you like eating? Do you like eating outside?? Brooklyn’s Smorgasburg is officially open for the 2019 season, happening Saturdays in Williamsburg and Sundays in Prospect Park. The vendors are always insanely delicious and honestly you had me at outdoor consumption of various treats. Pro tip: Don’t sleep on the vendors with shorter lines. Yes, there are 50 people waiting for that unicorn taco because it’s probably amazing, but so are the three vendors around it who haven’t gone viral—yet.

    Niche Niche Restaurant

New Yorkers! Or anyone who’s planning to visit New York! Niche Niche is a new, ridiculously fun restaurant, where the essential vibe is “a dinner party every night,” and they mean it. The menu changes each night, and the food is paired to the wine, not the other way around. Each night a different “host” curates a wine lineup (wineup, hi) featuring really amazing wines you’re probably unfamiliar with but will obsess about soon enough. It’s an intimate space, the playlist is perfect, and the concept is simply so fun.

Trader Joe’s Everything Bagel + Chili Lime Seasoning

I just want to talk about seasonings for a moment, okay? These are both AMAZING and can be thrown on so many things to add flavor and end meal monotony. The Everything Bagel Seasoning (which is exactly what it sounds like) is PHENOMENAL on chicken, salads, eggs, a random avocado—you name it. The Chili Lime Seasoning, similarly, is my favorite on a hard boiled egg, roasted cauliflower, chicken, even fruit (just trust me). Essentially if you’re bored with something you eat all the time, these seasonings will un-bore you. Yum.

    Guacamole Keeper

What do we hate? Brown guacamole! What do we always have? Brown guacamole! It’s very upsetting. Thankfully, this absolutely genius gadget (that actually works) exists, and will keep your guacamole fresh and green the way the world’s greatest snack (and sandwich topping, and taco accompaniment) should be.
