Bodyguard On Netflix

I’d like to talk about a little television show called Bodyguard on Netflix, which I recently binge watched. It was SO SO GOOD and after discussing this recently on IG stories someone advised I watch Line of Duty from the same creator/writer, Jed Mercurio. I’m about to start Season 3 so needless to say, ALSO SO GOOD. It might be even better (if that’s possible).

The Haunting Of Hill House

Everyone’s talking about The Haunting of Hill House on Netflix, and I’ll be the first to tell you that I’m not a big fan of horror… but ’tis the Halloween season amiright? And, enough (trusted) opinions have spoken so highly of this new Netflix series because of its compelling story, that I’m willing to get it a try. It’s early, but I’m into it. I also want to live in a (not haunted obvs) giant mansion with a sweeping staircase.

A Star Is Born

Sick of hearing about this movie yet? Sorry. I saw it for the first time last night and I can emphatically confirm that the hype is very, very real. This movie is SO GOOD and you need to see it, just be prepared to bring a kleenex or two. Literally text your girlfriends right this minute and make plans. I could write an entire blog post on Bradley Cooper’s hair alone but I think I’ll just let you make this discovery for yourselves. I also kind of really want to go back and watch the Judy Garland and Barbra Streisand…

Adult Coloring Books

While I was recuperating post-surgery a couple years ago, a friend dropped off the most thoughtful, hilarious get-well gift—this adult coloring book (along with this one). It’s so much fun and hugely therapeutic if you’re looking for a way to de-stress. Be warned, they incorporate very “colorful” language, so these are definitely not for children.

On Broadway

As many of you know, Rich and I go to Broadway shows every chance we get and just bought tickets to see The Band’s Visit next month. The cast is amazing (including the super talented Tony Shalhoub, Katrina Lenk and John Cariani) and reviews thus far have been stellar. Let me know if any of you have seen it already!

If you haven’t added this Netflix series to your list, do it now. The cast is spectacular—Jane Fonda, Martin Sheen, Lily Tomlin, Sam Waterston, Brooklyn Decker, and (my personal favorite) June Diane Raphael. You will die laughing.

Where To Buy Funny Cocktail Napkins

Many of you know that I’m a sucker for a cheeky cocktail napkin, and I’ve gotten lots of questions about where I find them.
