30 Dresses In 30 Days Starts This Week!
Very big news that’s happening in three days: My next 30 Dresses in 30 Days starts on Thursday, November 1st! Stick with me for a new season full of dresses and some very big surprises while I’m at it. If you want to be first to see it all, make sure you sign up for Memorandum emails here! I can tell already that this is the best season of 30 Dresses yet!
It’s Crockpot Season!
Full disclosure: My crockpot has been sitting dormant for the past six full months. However—I think this is the week it finally sees the light of a cozy day. If you don’t have one, you might want to take advantage of the fact that my All-Clad version (which I love) is currently 20% off here with code THANKS. The crock pot is a game changer in the world of meal prep, but I’m also really into some of the more seasonally delightful creations you can make in a crockpot when you’re hosting (or just really craving some apple cider TBH). Try making your winter & holiday big-batch cocktails in your crockpot, they’ll be real crowd pleasers. And, if you stumble upon a soup recipe or two I need to know about, speak up.
Blazer Obsession
I believe you’ve met my new blazer? I wore (and wrote about) this beauty last week and can already tell it’s one of those wear-constantly-forever pieces. It’s SO beautifully made and has a really flattering silhouette. Many people (especially my petite friends) are nervous about the oversized blazer trend and if that sounds like you, try this one. The cut really accentuates your waist which helps with proportions, no matter your size.
Prickly Pear Seed Oil
My friend Grace recently covered prickly pear seed oil on her blog and I’ve been giving it a test run ever since. You guys… it’s AMAZING (and available here on Amazon). It helps to brighten under-eye circles and is an anti-aging powerhouse, too. Dry skin season is upon us, so this is the perfect time to work a new wonder into your routine. You know I’m very into face oils and therefore SUPER picky about them as well, but this one might be my favorite yet. I mean, I’m never going to stop loving the Elemis Superfood Facial Oil, but prickly pear seed oil is right up there with it.
Dada Daily
Have you heard of Dada Daily Snacks? You have now. Founded by Claire Olshan who also founded Fivestory, Dada’s mission is to break the rules of health food trends, and to make snacking something that’s free from guilt, and most importantly fun! Unique flavors and ingredients mean that these snacks are nothing like you’ve ever had before, and they make fantastic gifts as well! My current faves: Schisandra Chocolate Truffles, Matcha Latte Truffles, Hot Turmeric Cabbage Petals.
How I Do My Hair
Lots of questions about how I do my hair come through via Instagram. As much as I want to tell you I roll out of bed this way, I do not roll out of bed this way. However, with a little product, a very little time, and the right tools, I make it work. You can find all the nitty-gritty details in this blog post!
