Buru’s Le Scoop Tie-Shoulder Dresses
This Le Scoop dress from Buru sent me into an existential crisis this week. It’s a fresh spin on a classic shirtdress with a scoop neckline (hence the name) with the most flattering adjustable ties at the shoulders. The problem is that it comes in absolutely ideal shades of Hot Pink and Oxford Blue and I tell you, deciding between the two was my Sophie’s Choice. I finally turned to Instagram for help and the people have spoken… I got both.

I have so many summer dresses (like these!) begging for a waist belt and thankfully, Loeffler Randall was happy to oblige. Mrs. Harris Goes To Paris
GO SEE Mrs. Harris Goes to Paris! This charming, heartwarming movie is based on the novel (by Paul Gallico) of the same name and is in theaters now. It’s the story of a widowed cleaning lady in postwar 1950s London who goes on an adventure to Paris to purchase a couture Dior dress. It has a 94% rating on Rotten Tomatoes and a 100% rating in my heart because it is the kind of feel-good movie Hollywood doesn’t seem to want to make anymore which makes it all the more refreshing. Please go see this so they start making more gems like it!

You know how when you get a cute activewear set, it makes you want to work out? Well, these LoveShackFancy aprons for Hedley & Bennett make me want to cook a five-course meal. They’re inspired by vintage aprons but have modern functionality like adjustable straps, pockets and a loop for a towel. The only problem is, the sweet floral patterns are almost too pretty to wipe my hands on. Also, don’t even get me started on the options for little ones.
Memory Foam Sleep Eye Mask
I have a new favorite sleep mask from Amazon. It’s made from a super soft memory foam and is ergonomically designed so it doesn’t smush (smoosh?) your eyelashes. It’s fully adjustable, comes in six different colors and is perfect for meditation, yoga, flights, sleeping, or pretending the piles of laundry at the foot of your bed don’t exist.
Madewell Fisherman Sandals
If you’re familiar with Madewell, you know they’re constantly having sales. But, the sales don’t always include these cute fisherman sandals for 50% off. Huarache/fisherman sandals are historically worn by babies, uncles, and yes, fishermen, but they’ve had a real renaissance this summer. This is a dressier take on the classic style but what I love most about them is their ability to obscure the fact that I haven’t had time for a pedicure in two months. I also snagged this shirt and this set in the sale.
Brown Noise Sound Machine
When you have children, you quickly become reliant on white noise machines. White noise calms babies and helps them settle at bedtime and throughout the night. But, what about overtired/overworked moms and dads? This is where brown noise comes in. Brown noise is similar to white noise in that it also generates a calming background sound, but brown noise has more bass and a lower overall frequency so instead of the hum of a fan or TV static, it sounds more like thunder rumbling or the roar or a distant waterfall. And, if you don’t find the roar of a distant waterfall relaxing, I can’t help you.
Tizo Crystal Vases
I bought this show-stopping square-cut vase from Tizo Design and immediately had to march back and buy all of their other crystal vase offerings like this, this and this, because they’re all so unique and beautiful. The latter three are smaller than the first square-cut option I mentioned, and I love that they have room for just a single stem or two. The vases themselves are such a statement, you don’t have to buy enormous quantities of flowers to use them. I need one in every room! Also, adding this to my list of great hostess gifts.
Straight Leg Pull-On Pants
I first bought these straight leg pull-on pants from Vince last fall in flannel and was thrilled to see them offer the same flattering fit in a lightweight fabric for summer. They’re as flattering and comfortable as their winter sister and come in this perfect, summery pale sand color. I’m hoping Vince keeps this up, so I can just keep wearing these pants all year round. Can I manifest a corduroy option for fall, please?
