The Easy White Shirtdess You’ll Wear All Summer

I know I’ve said it about 98,523 times in the past, but a classic shirtdress is a summer MUST-HAVE for me.  When I spotted this white Calvin Klein shirt dress at Macy’s, it reminded me of a nearly identical dress I wore on the day of my wedding.  To be clear, I didn’t get married in it. However, it was the perfect easy frock to wear while getting my hair and make-up done. It was cute, comfortable and the button front meant nothing would be pulled over my head disrupting my hair later on. So, there’s no precaution too great in the protection of the bride’s ‘do, you know?

Wedding Weekend

In the flurry of our wedding weekend, I was devastated that this dress somehow disappeared.  Perhaps it was thrown into someone else’s bag accidentally. This happened after everyone was done getting ready or perhaps it fell into some hidden crevice in our suite. However, it never made it out of the wedding weekend alive.  Needless to say, I was over the moon when I spotted this beauty at Macy’s recently. I’ve had my eye peeled for a replacement for YEARS.

And, not to be disloyal to the beauty that got me through my wedding day prep, but I actually like this one better. It has of the beautiful eyelet detailing throughout.  Such a gorgeous touch to this classic, wear-everywhere closet staple.

I have to say, Calvin Klein seems to be winning the shirtdress game this season.  As you may recall, I posted this gingham beauty a few weeks ago. Also, I have my eye on this beauty and this beauty.  Also, HOW STUNNING IS THE EMBROIDERY on this one?!
