Versatile Date Night Attire
Here, I’m wearing a sweater dress that I really think you’re going to appreciate. It’s ribbed knit construction makes it effortless to wear and very cozy, but the genius of Ganni is that they’ve cut the dress to give it an elevated look anyway. It’s the ideal date night LBD and it’s on such sale right now. The square neck and sleeve length do the heavy lifting and meanwhile, I don’t hate that it’s super comfortable, knowwhatimean?
We snapped these photos before a little date night at home after the baby was put to sleep last night and this dress was the perfect option. It felt like an actual date night dress while still being supremely comfortable.
Here’s how you make it versatile:
Top the dress with a long cardigan like this beauty by L’Agence, and you’ve made the dress workday appropriate for both WFH and post-Covid work life, too. I absolutely love the button detail and the striped border which really lifts the overall look so that it doesn’t come across as loungewear.
Naturally, I can’t operate most days without a headband, so I’ve topped this look off with a Lele Sadoughi faux leather knot headband in gold. Colette used to give me side-eye about my headband collection but that alllllll changed when she realized she’d have to split it with her baby sister. Who’s hoarding accessories now, kiddo??
