White Sheath Dress Trilogy, Part II: CONSERVATIVE

Dress: Zara (similar here and here)  |  Jacket: Mango |  Shoes: Asos (similar here, here and here) |  Necklace: c/o T+J Designs (similar here)  |  Rings: c/o Henri Bendel  |  Sunglasses: Nina Ricci (similar here)  |  Polish: Essie (Lollipop)  |  Lip: Stila (Fiery) Today is the more traditional workwear take on the white sheath dress, as I wore it to meetings recently in Barcelona.  While I went monochromatic and paired it with this white blazer from Mango (which I love), a white sheath dress is an amazing canvas for brightly colored and/or patterned blazers or even bold jewelry.  The above look stands in stark contrast to the casual pairing yesterday with a tied gingham shirt and white patent leather Birkenstocks, and (hopefully) illustrates how wide-ranging your options are in styling this great basic.   Following the casual and conservative takes, I’m ending the three-part series mañana with the way I transitioned this dress for after-five cocktails.  See you back here tomorrow!  Bring a martini… or a flask of bootleg whiskey.  Whatever does the trick for you.  P.S. J. Crew’s extra 40% off sale is ridiculously good.  Check out my sale picks here. JavaScript is currently disabled in this browser. Reactivate it to view this content.
