What a lovely reception! You took care of every single detail and everything is beautiful and perfect! You look gorgeous in both dresses. You had a wedding (ceremony and reception) that many would love to have.

Your mother is beautiful. You look just like her. Looks like you had so much fun. Looking forward to the remaining installments.
I nearly squealed when I got the email alert that Wedding Wednesday was upon us once more! I am 5 months out from my own big day and I 100% back your “you know your vision” sentiment. It’s important that you work with fabulous vendors who support and guide your vision, not overshadow it with their own.
Side note: thanks for justifying my idea (read: good taste) to switch from a more conservative bridal look to a more celebratory bridal look. My friends gave me some weird looks but your post was a nice virtual nudge of reassurement.
Thanks for sharing such a personal day with all of us!
Your wedding and reception look like they were both amazing! I love seeing all these snaps of everyone mingling and having fun. Thanks for sharing all the details of your special day with us!
Amazing photos, thanks for sharing them! It looks like you had a wonderful day! Your wedding dress and that flapper dress are both gorgeous!
You are so beautiful, Mary! Thank you for your inspiring posts. Congratulations again on your wedding!
Thank you for sharing your wedding and reception photos! Photos from both are just beautiful, everything was so well planned with great attention to detail, and everyone looks like they were having a wonderful time.
Thank you for sharing more pictures of your beautiful wedding! Your classic style is visible in even the smallest details making it an exquisite reception. I, on the other hand, am dreading the lengthy and complex process of planning my wedding, especially as it will be a destination wedding in Europe (likely on a Spanish or Greek island). I was wondering if you could share some insights into the planning process, and maybe elaborate into the order in which you tackled this Herculean undertaking. Did you use a wedding planner and if you did not, how did you manage to stay organized? I’m debating whether I should start shopping for a wedding dress first or book a venue. Any advice is welcome!
This is so beautiful!! Love all the details!

Gorgeous wedding! Thanks so much for sharing your pictures…
Oh, loved the Mother of the Bride’s dress as well…perfect!
Such a gorgeous, classy wedding! Saw your snapchat- ignore the crazy.
Thanks for sharing us such a great post!
I love your wedding wednesday posts! Keep ’em coming! I live in the Milwaukee area too and I just got engaged in October. Since I’m looking in the downtown area, these posts are especially helpful (and knowing which vendors you loved). I actually have a few questions for you that I would love to read about in future posts: Any suggestions about budget and how much to allocate to what? What did your planning process look like (Did you check out venues first then book a date?) What was the best advice you received during your planning process? Is there anything you wish you would have done differently? How many venues did you look at?How many cake/catering tastings did you book? How many photographers did you interview? How did you know what style of dress you wanted? How many dresses did you try on and how did you narrow it down?
Your wedding looks like a dream come true – which is why your advice would mean so much! Thanks for reading!
Congratulations! What a beautiful wedding!! And you looked stunning as always!! I didn’t know you were from Milwaukee/WI! I am as well! My hubby and I were debating on the Pfister and The Grain Exchange (Mackie Building) for our wedding in 2013 and we chose the latter! Both are AMAZING venues!! <3

Could you tell me what kind of instant cameras you used for your guestbook and what type of adhesive film you purchased? I am interested in trying this for my guestbook as well! Such a cute idea!
Thanks!
I can’t in finding your email subscription link or newsletter service.

Hi Karla,
Sorry, I absolutely loved my florist, but as of last year, they’re no longer operating.
