Aside from desperately wanting to ditch coats all together so we can get this whole “Spring” thing started, I have to say that my trusty leopard coat has been an outerwear MVP all winter long. Seasons aside, leopard somehow always manages to amp up any look—whether it’s an easy all black ensemble or an outfit involving contrasting patterns and prints. Leopard can somehow act just as well as a focal point as it can as a neutral, and although I’m ready to put this winter coat away, I’m really excited for the warm-weather versions of all things leopard. Whether it’s a leopard clutch like this one that I’ve had for years, or these perfect white sneakers with just a touch of leopard on the heel that I’ve been wearing constantly for the last couple months, this timeless animal print will definitely be on rotation as temperatures start rising… assuming, of course, that spring and summer actually arrive at some point. With this week’s brutal temps, I’m not convinced.

I still have a hard time mixing my prints like this, Mary! Although I did wear prints & stripes last night at the Chicos Event we co-hosted, so maybe I’m finding it a little easier??

I’m so ready to ditch the winter coat, too! Here’s hoping that spring weather comes soon. I love that shirt with the leather pants. Such a great look!
