Spring’s Most Versatile Dress
The Staud Shoko Sweater Midi Dress is a long-sleeved, lightweight rib dress that falls mid-calf, with a flattering V-neck and button closures all the way down. It comes in a plethora of stunning colorways (you can see them HERE and even more HERE). But I’ve opted for a blue and turquoise pairing that makes me believe spring is a real thing that might be happening and not just a figment of my quarantined imagination.
The dress itself is a masterclass in versatility because you can of course wear it as a dress, styling it up or down depending on your accessory choices, but you can also go more fully casual and wear it open as a long cardigan. I’d pair it with a white tank atop my favorite jeans or white leggings for a super casual, yet super chic spring or summer look. I really love it when one purchase results in multiple outfits, don’t you?
Here, I’m opting for a happy medium between casual and dressy by styling the dress with Staud’s Simone Croc-Embossed Leather Mules (also on sale!) and an essential Dannijo chain link necklace. Both items are ideal closet neutrals you’ll get endless wear out of, as they work for both up-styling and down-styling depending on the rest of your outfit.
You don’t have to limit your spring wardrobe to sweatpants only.
Certainly not when there are so many inspiring pieces—on sale—at Saks. Whether you’re looking for the ideal outfit for an upcoming Zoom event or socially-distanced special night out—or maybe even if you just need to add something to your closet that renews your excitement for actually getting dressed, this piece is perfect.
