It has arrived! From now through Monday, September 3rd, all. of. Sephora. is on sale, with discounts according to how addicted to Sephora you apparently are. Use the discount code that corresponds to your status (listed below!) and wait (im)patiently for that delightful black and white box to hit your doorstep. But be warned, these codes are one-time use only online, so leave nothing to chance, and nothing out of cart. (You can use the code as many times as you want in-store.) Also, if you’re leaving your sale shopping for Monday morning, just know that many of the most popular items do often sell out. First, a brief rundown of the codes you need to know:
ROUGE: 20% off your order with code YESROUGE.
VIB: 15% off your order with code YESVIB.
INSIDER: 10% off your order with code YESINSIDER.
Now the big question, how on earth do we whittle down the lotions and potions lining the virtual Sephora shelves in order to select our precious purchases? My strategy is two-fold: First, I stock up on the products I use the most (even if I’m not out of them right now). Anything that I know I’ll run out of in the next three months or so gets added to cart (i.e. my go-to eyebrow pencil, primer, foundation, concealer, etc.). Second, I use this sale as an opportunity to buy the products I’ve been wanting to try for months, but wasn’t sure about testing at full price. Below are six products that were at the top of my list to hopefully inspire you:
Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation. Everyone and their mother seems to be OBSESSED with this foundation. It’s all I hear about so 20% off is just the incentive I need to finally try it.
Dr. Dennis Gross Alpha Beta Intense Glow Pads: The most natural-looking glow I’ve ever tried. Stock up on these pads now for a summer radiance that lasts ‘til Christmas.
Fresh Sugar Lip Treatment. Sometimes you just want a lip product that makes you happy. These are mine. I’ve just re-ordered these in “Sugar Berry” and “Sugar Fig.” Nothing keeps my lips more hydrated, and going into fall/winter, having these on hand is mission critical.
Artis Elite Mirror Oval 7 Brush: This is my favorite foundation brush — there’s just nothing like it — it’s worth its weight in gold (read my complete review of the Artis brushes at the bottom of this post). I haven’t replaced mine in a couple years (so it’s definitely time) and why not, when I can score it on sale?
Dior Lip Glow: Apparently this is the best lip product on earth, according to the overwhelming response I received when I threw the question out on the ol’ Instagram Stories. I trust you, so this little beauty in “Berry” is coming home to me.
Klorane Dry Shampoo with Oat Milk: I never go a day without dry shampoo. My trick is to spray it throughout your roots right after blow-drying. Not only does it add volume, but it stems oiliness from the start. If you wait until your hair is already oily, it’s much harder to revive. Prevention is better than a cure, am I right?
That’s what’s coming home with me from the Sephora sale! If you’d be so kind as to comment below with yours, it’s time for me to start a new beauty wish list. In the meantime, check out my entire (seriously, it’s thorough) beauty routine here with my comprehensive list of makeup favorites!
