Why it's the best leather booties
Available in black leather and cognac suede, this boot is essentially a closet worth of boots in one shoe. Made of the most buttery Italian leather, with an almond toe (yes please) and rubber tread underneath (thank you), this thoughtful boot was designed to be the one you never walk out your front door without. And, because the style is so classic and essential, you can. Sarah Flint achieved her goal in the most beautiful way and the best leather booties deserve to be celebrated. It’s a feat for feet. I made a funny.
Height matters when we’re talking about shoes, and it most likely is very firmly connected to the purpose for which you’re wearing the bootie. A long day of work, meetings, and dinner with friends ahead of you? Opt for the 30mm heel height. Going out on Friday night? Maybe the higher 70mm is the way to go. That’s part of what makes Sarah Flint so brilliant, she’s thought of the real life scenarios that make us not only choose our shoes, but rely on them, too. There’s more…
Extra padding and arch support are cognizant of the fact that… you know, feet go in here, for long periods of time. Not only did the shoe require absolutely no “breaking in” on the first wear, I legitimately didn’t want to take them off when I got home because they’re just so unbelievably comfortable. I mean, are we sure they booties? Because they feel like slippers.
More things to love
And, just in case unbelievable arch support isn’t enough, you can take comfort (literally) in knowing the best leather booties were created with a wider toe box. This means that your toes aren’t fighting for space throughout the day. Everybody’s got plenty of room to like… function and have blood supply. Wild.
Nothing condemns a boot to the donate bin like a bad zipper, so rest assured that these zips are galvanized to ensure longevity and a smooth, unimposing zip situation, forever. I also just have to say that I find the exposed gold zippers to be very aesthetically pleasing—the kind of extra stylistic detail that elevates the shoe beyond the standard-issue staple bootie everyone has in their wardrobe. This pair stands out—but not so much that you can’t wear them with absolutely everything.
I know we all want to feel completely confident in our footwear investments, and it’s a priority of mine to contribute to your confidence. This is an un-regrettable boot. Essential, thoughtfully made, and aesthetically versatile. Every. Single. Box. Checked. Off.
Thanks to Sarah Flint for partnering on this post!
