Just when I thought Elie Tahari couldn’t possibly be more amazing, he pops this little number out. Stop the presses. There now exists a peplum dress in the world that fits me. Despite my generally favorable opinion of the peplum craze in the last couple of years, I’ve been super bitter about the fact that I have yet to find one that hits me right. I’m 5’10” and generally too long-waisted for them (#tallgirlproblems). But, due to the supernatural powers of Elie Tahari, this dress has successfully defied physics and seems to fit everyone perfectly. A petite friend of mine owns it as well and it looks amazing on her too. I’m pretty sure there’s a huge opportunity for someone to do some kind of Sisterhood of the Traveling Peplum series with this sucker. The dress is magical. I’m calling Blake Lively…
