    A.L.C. Button Down

This white button-down from A.L.C. hits all the marks of a wardrobe classic — the dropped shoulders, the oversized fit, the crisp collar. But the treasure hidden in this obvious classic shirt is the flared, elastic sleeves that can be rolled up and styled to perfection. Excuse me while I send a handwritten thank you note to Lindsay Silberman for the rec.

    Veronica Beard Favorites

Veronica Beard has mastered the blazer. Some of my favorites from Veronica Beard, including the GENIUS Miller Dickey Jacket and accompanying dickeys I posted last week, can all be found here on my LTK. I styled the jacket three ways, but there are infinite ways to make it your own.

    Dudley Stephens Fleece Vest

I have more Dudley Stephens fleeces than I care to admit and yet it still feels like I don’t have enough? They are truly the most comfortable, delicious pieces to wear all fall and winter. It’s the first thing I reach for when throwing something on for a morning park run or school drop off. Recently, I got the Lafayette Vest in Camel and am not-at-all shocked by how much I’ve already worn it. This longline Sherpa fleece is the most comfortable fall topper and it also layers beautifully under your favorite winter coat for extra warmth.

    Fallon & Ava Bow Turtleneck

If you saw my Coastal Granny: Fall Edition video, you know that turtleneck season is upon us and there is virtually nothing more important to me in life than a good turtleneck. Much to my delight, I recently discovered this beauty from Fallon & Ava which is the mullet of turtlenecks: business in front, party bow in the back. They’ve upgraded the classic, fitted black turtleneck with a ribbon tie at the nape of the neck and it is perfection. Not only is it a stunning statement piece, but for every purchase, Fallon & Ava will donate a turtleneck to…

    Hunter Bell’s Spring Collection

Honestly, if I were only allowed to wear Hunter Bell through end-of-summer I think I’d be entirely fine. If you haven’t taken a scroll through every bit of gingham and every delicate ruffle, you, my friend, are missing out. Every essential summer item imaginable is waiting for you, and dare I say these are some seriously packable styles, too? I recently ordered a ton of summer pieces from the brand and wore this gingham set (top here and pants here) last weekend as soon as it arrived. It comes in green as well and honestly, feels like you’re wearing PJs.…

    Valentine’s Day Sweater

Um, HOW CUTE is this & Other Stories sweater for Valentine’s Day? The perfect shade of red (although it also comes in navy and powder blue), the chic neckline, the HEART SHAPED BUTTONS?? Honestly, I’m not a big V-Day person and I’m not sure I have a single thing in my closet with a heart motif of any kind but somehow… this one is just CHIC for Valentine’s Day and beyond. I also appreciate that the alpaca-blend sweater has ribbed cuffs and hem, plus some slight pleating at the shoulders to give it a strong shape. The navy option also…

    Marks & Spencer Cashmere

I’m giving you a very solid sweater resource here, make sure to bookmark it. I buy cashmere from Marks & Spencer every year, because the quality is really impressive for this price point. Get your essentials like a classic crew, cardigan, or duster, take good care of them, and they’ll round out your autumn essentials really nicely. I just purchased these joggers, this coordinating hoodie, and this cableknit.

    The Best Layering Turtlenecks

Speaking of sweaters, by now I think we’re all aware of my turtleneck hoarding.  I don’t hide it, it is what it is.  From September through April, I’m pretty much never not wearing one, either on their own or layered under… yeah pretty much everything. Dresses, button-ups, cardigans, other turtlenecks, you name it, I’ll turtleneck it.  So, in preparation for dipping temperatures, I thought I’d share three favorite places to score great layering turtlenecks at affordable prices. When you’re wearing them as often as I do, it’s nice to get them at a bargain, especially if you want to refresh…
