There’s an election coming soon!) with millions of Americans making voting decisions, not just about the Presidential candidates, but also on critically important local and state elections, there’s a lot of information to consume. But have no fear, Flipboard is about to be your new favorite app. It allows you to curate news and information so you can stay connected to the issues, candidates and stories that matter to you. Goodpods

I love podcasts, we all do. We’ve all got a queue of who-knows-how-many to listen to while we make dinner, if only we could remember to press play while we make dinner. But one thing that’s missing from the whole pod-o-sphere is a social element, and that’s where Goodpods comes in. It’s a social platform for sharing and discussing all the podcasts you and your friends are into. It’s also just a much more efficient way to find out about new podcasts instead of just… random texts from your cousin in Dallas and the like.

Best Places To See Fall Foliage

Leaf peeping is a thing because there are LEAVES TO PEEP. I love this list for autumn road trip inspo, and I was delighted to see Wisconsin made the lineup. I can personally confirm that my midwestern neck of the literal woods turns into an idyllic fall postcard for the entire month of October. But, have a flip through the full list to see where you might find beautiful options in your area.

    Meal Train

Our family welcomed its newest member when my cousin recently gave birth to a beautiful baby boy. My sister-in-law came up with the ingenious idea to circulate a Meal Train among friends and family members as a way to lend a hand and show our love to the new parents. Having keen memories of what new motherhood is like, I immediately jumped on board and knew I needed to share this amazing website with all of you. The gist of it is this: You invite everyone to the Meal Train, and people can sign up to bring them dinner one…

    Fall Decor Ideas

Hello, my name is Mary and I have a home in the suburbs now and the suburbs DON’T SKIP OPPORTUNITIES TO EMBRACE A THEME. That’s right. I have to decorate for fall and stuff now. It’s in the contract. I’m guessing it has to do with actually having storage space for all that off-season stuff. We’re less than 12 months from me dedicating an entire closet to carefully marked rubbermaid containers organized by season and festivity and you know what, I’m not mad about it. (Colette just whispered,  “My birthday should get its own wing of the house.”) If, like…

    A Guide To Fall Apples

I love this guide to fall apples from Goop. It gets right to the point and isn’t an overwhelming assessment of every varietal on the planet, just the ones that will really impact your baking, cooking, and indeed snacking on a daily basis this fall. While we’re at it, after you learn which apples are best for baking, BAKE THIS CARAMEL APPLE SKILLET CAKE. I have strong feelings about cake.
