    Refrigerator Egg Holder

Is it the world’s most exciting find? No. Should you give it as a gift? Absolutely not. But can we go ahead and file this refrigerator egg holder under quite mundane things that actually make life better and more streamlined? Yes. A thousand times yes.

    Waterworks Sanitizing Spray Bottle

I found this bottle via @cocoincashmere on Instagram and it was an immediate purchase for me. This Waterworks Sanitizing Spray Bottle, when filled with water, produces “aqueous ozone,” which is 99.9% effective at eliminating common bacteria including e-coli, salmonella, and staphylococcus. The bottle lasts up to three years/600 refills (whichever comes first) and the reviews for this product don’t lie. Here’s my basic understanding of the science: the bottle bubbles oxygen and water through a proprietary diamond electrolytic cell which (thanks to an electric charge) separates the O2 molecules into O-atoms which re-form into O3 molecules. These O3 molecules then…

ONE Cookbook by Lillie Eats And Tells

Recipes by Lillie Eats and Tells take the counting out of counting macros and meal planning. If you’re into that sort of thing, that is. Personally, I’m not! I’m just a busy parent who wants healthy, hearty, EASY meals for my family. This ONE cookbook handles the heavy lifting of planning out healthy meals that are beloved by the whole family so that you never feel like healthy eating is a chore. We use the ONE cookbook, which is available in either print or e-book, and we’ve been using it to make meals in advance and enjoy all week. I…

    Gingham Apron

Why, pray tell, did aprons stop being a thing? Yes, I know chefs are still wearing them, but I’m talking about you and me. Average Janes who don’t always have time to change out of our work clothes before it’s time to whip something up for hangry children. We’re bringing them back into the mainstream fold. I declare it. They’re so necessary! Not just for cooking but also for just… being around toddlers who are often covered in… all the things. I love this gingham apron as well as the entire apron section at Anthropologie. Super functional and super cute.…

    Dish Squeegee

What are we supposed to scrape dishes with, OUR HANDS? This soft and flexible dish squeegee is much smarter and more efficient than scraping your dishes with whatever dirty knives or forks are lying around. Get your dishes cleaner, faster, or prep them for the dishwasher instantly. I also love that it spares your dishes extra scraping and scratching. This is the smartest $7 I’ve spent in a while.

    Can Colander

Yes, I said can colander. FRIENDS, this might be the kitchen gadget of 2022. Look at this! You use it (obviously) to strain cans with a device perfectly sized for such an activity, but there are so many other uses too. Use it to steep whole-leaf tea in a mug of hot water, to squeeze lemons without dropping seeds in your food, to strain cocktails, even poach eggs—I’m telling you, there are ENDLESS uses to this clever kitchen find.

    Ruffled Marble Bowl

I’ve had my eye on a ruffled or scalloped marble bowl for ages and finally just ordered this beauty. The ruffling is dramatic in a really fresh way, and I can’t wait to use it to hold fruit in the kitchen or place on my entry console for a chic statement. I ordered the large, but it comes in three sizes and would also make for a fantastic housewarming gift!

    Tortoise Flatware

Lately, I’ve been hunting for tortoise flatware and decided to go with this option by Southern Living for Dillards. They’re slightly oversized, and a great addition to fall and holiday tablescapes where your basic everyday flatware feels not quite special enough. They’re a fantastic seasonless addition to your collection as they look just as great at the height of summer on a patio as they do set for Thanksgiving dinner.

The Cheeseboard Deck by Meg Quinn

Ever seen a stunning cheeseboard on Instagram and wondered why you can’t seem to assemble one yourself? That’s because neither you nor I are actual food stylists like Meg Quinn. But, the good news is that Meg is willing to spill her secrets and teach us her ways. You may know Meg from her Instagram @ainttooproudtomeg where she shares the most beautiful food boards imaginable. Last week, she published The Cheeseboard Deck which is packed with tips and ideas for your own entertaining. I love that she put her ideas into a fun deck instead of a traditional cookbook, because the…
