H&M Swimwear

H&M is taking a very cool, minimalist approach to their summer swimwear offerings which I really like for the somewhat minimalist summer we’ll no doubt be having. There are an impressive amount of affordable swimwear options to shop through right now, but I’m partial to this adorably striped one piece, sporty high-leg number, and ribbed one piece that’s belted. We’ll need little more than a swimsuit and cool cover-up to consider this summer’s stash handled.

Headband-Scarf-Mask

Look, I don’t love the name. But, I do love the functionality of a good scarf, especially right now. I recently shared an Instagram tutorial video on how to tie an oversized scarf or sarong into a headband/mask that is convenient, cute, and, well… mandatory when leaving the house. Check out CDC guidelines here on face cloth coverings for non-medical persons, and then start digging out your favorite scarves. Headbands

I recently shared a round-up of quarantine headbands under $50 on my Instagram (we’re all on this extreme quarantine root journey together), which you can shop here. Headbands are the perfect effortless accessory for hair that’s basically going nowhere (and maybe hasn’t been washed in several days) but still wants to feel cute. I just ordered this one, and I’m sure several more aren’t far behind.

Missoma Hoops

I love everything Missoma does, but I just ordered their Tidal Ovate hoops in gold. I have a similar style from Zara (that’s super old and sold out) and I’m constantly asked about them. They’re showing signs of wear (sigh, Zara), so I needed to upgrade to a higher quality option, and these are perfect. They’re incredibly versatile and a great price point for a quality earring.

Stance Socks

Whelp, since socks are the new shoes, it was time for me to upgrade my supplies. These socks by Stance are the comfiest, cutest, best live-in-them socks ever. My brother-in-law got all of us pairs last Christmas which is how I originally discovered them and after LIVING in them for the past several months, I recently ordered these and these, too. They come in… I don’t know, roughly a million sizes and colors and ensure that sock boredom never becomes a thing during quarantine.

Staud Summer Dresses

Maybe I just wanna shop for summer dresses on Staud and cry? Does that count as an activity? I dunno. I’ll take anything at this point. But seriously…look at this thing! And this thing! Honestly, I don’t care if I can’t wear them out of doors until 2025. They will be mine. It’s perfectly okay to keep an eye out for timeless style staples you know you’ll wear forever, and buy them during the summer that might never be… You’ll know you have them for future days in the sun, and that’s a comfort.

Lightweight Loungewear

Similarly to the throw blanket switcheroo mentioned above, a lot of loungewear can take an overly warm turn. For spring and summer, we’ll want lighter weight textures like jersey fabrics when we’re looking for easy items to wear comfortably around the house. I love Splendid’s textures for this purpose, but this is also really Eberjey’s time to shine, as no one does pajamas and loungewear better in my opinion. This is also a fantastic and affordable option that works just as well for lounge as it does for a quick Zoom call.
