Anklets!

You know I approach trends with caution, but I actually really do appreciate the fact that anklets are back. While I’ll likely keep my anklet trend participation to something delicate and minimal to wear on a patio or poolside, I love accessorizing swimwear. Headband-Scarf-Mask

Look, I don’t love the name. But, I do love the functionality of a good scarf, especially right now. I recently shared an Instagram tutorial video on how to tie an oversized scarf or sarong into a headband/mask that is convenient, cute, and, well… mandatory when leaving the house. Missoma Hoops

I love everything Missoma does, but I just ordered their Tidal Ovate hoops in gold. I have a similar style from Zara (that’s super old and sold out) and I’m constantly asked about them. They’re showing signs of wear (sigh, Zara), so I needed to upgrade to a higher quality option, and these are perfect. They’re incredibly versatile and a great price point for a quality earring.

Headbands

Does it count as doing your hair? Sure! Whether you’re styling your hair with a headband because it’s easy, or because it conveniently hides your grown-out roots, headbands are the hair heroes of the season. The season that may never end. I love this option for spring because, you know, I’ll work gingham into the conversation at any opportunity, but if you really need to hide roots right now, scroll through the headband section of Etsy—so many options! I’m ordering this floral cutie.

Lele Sadhougi Pearl Ear Warmer

I’ve secretly been an ear warmer fan for quite awhile, and I’m so excited to see them staging a comeback. They’re equally practical and adorable, because we have ears that need to stay toasty and a sense of style, thank you very much. Personally, I would opt to wear this pearl ear warmer styled with the back portion underneath my hair, but I think it would look equally amazing with your hair up or down. Ears without frostbite are always in fashion.

Oversized Hair Bows

I recently shared a video on Instagram showing you my favorite way to style oversized bow barrettes. The trick to this look (and preventing yourself from looking like a toddler or a founding father) is creating a chignon or messy bun and placing the bow above and to the side (the asymmetry is key!). We loved hair bows as kids, and they’ve been overlooked for too long. It’s time to scoop up a few modern versions for 2020. I love these beauties that I found on Etsy, the prices are amazing and they come in so many wearable colors.
