We recently got the sweetest children’s book, The Camper and The Counselor, which has quickly become my daughters’ favorite bedtime book. It tells the heartfelt story of a camper’s first summer away from home and it not only makes me nostalgic for my own camp days, it makes me crazy excited for my girls going to camp. The engaging story, the illustrations and my own delight must be rubbing off, because my two-year-old has already asked when she can go to summer camp.
