I know I’m super late to the party on this one, but BIG NEWS: I’m a packing cube person now. In packing my hospital bag and trying to organize my things, baby things, all the things, I’ve found that hands down the best way to do it is by playing suitcase Tetris with these genius cubes. Packing cubes are organizational pouches that deliver on their promise of keeping you organized while away from home. However, finding the right cubes isn’t the easiest. In my quest to find the best options, I was shocked to find out that so many of the highest rated cubes were actually completely opaque which was super counter-intuitive to me. I figured that packing cubes would need to be see-through so that we can easily know what’s inside, but apparently much of the internet disagrees with me. I don’t want to memorize a color-coding system and I definitely don’t want to have to open up eight different cubes to figure out what’s inside, so I chose these packing cubes with transparent mesh tops that allow me to get a quick look at what I’m dealing with in each one, and I couldn’t be happier with my selection. They’re virtually weightless (so they don’t add to your luggage weight limit), come in so many colors (I got cream), and you’ll see that in each set there’s one that does not have a transparent panel, so that’s the one I’ll be using for dirty laundry—definitely not something I need eyes on, ever.
