The brand just launched a new line of matte lipsticks which I’ve been testing over the last several weeks and I can now confirm I’m an enormous fan. They’re full coverage, matte, moisturizing, and come in the most insanely beautiful range of colors. I’m also a huge fan of the long, slim “bullet” packaging with a built-in shaper for when you need a perfect line.

You know I love a good full-glam beauty moment, preferably paired with some sort of dramatic, sweeping gown that wouldn’t be out of place were I to attend the Emmys, but there’s really something to be said for finding and perfecting your everyday beauty routine, too. I’m long overdue in sharing my current routine with you, so am excited to give you the step-by-step details on the makeup products I’m using and loving right now.
Momentarily putting aside the metallic leopard dress and bold red lip (it’s the holiday season, after all), what we’re looking at here is my everyday, happy medium beauty routine—somewhere between full-glam for an event, and gym face. This is the go-to makeup routine I deploy when I want to look put-together and polished but not necessarily over-the-top. Every product in the routine was picked up at Nordstrom, and any site that lets me one-cart my entire beauty situation gets top marks from me. Especially during the holiday season when life is, essentially, a zoo.
