You know I don’t take sartorial commands lightly, but stop what you’re doing and buy these sandals in both colors. I had sandals nearly identical to the brown version a few years ago, and I wore them until they literally fell apart. I received so many questions about them and couldn’t find them anywhere online so my hunt for this pair has been three years in the making. Finally a footwear miracle occured: my friend Jean shared these beauties on instastories and I’ve never swiped up faster. I was skeptical since they’re INSANELY CHEAP but lo and behold, they are THE MOST COMFORTABLE pair of sandals I think I’ve ever bought. I mean, they immediately feel like butter on your feet—not a stiff element or pressure point anywhere, meaning you can leave the band aids that you usually carry around for breaking in all of your summer sandals at home. Also, they’re under $50. At the risk of sounding like a complete psycho, I just bought a second pair of both colors just in case I have the same problem where I wear these out and can’t find a replacement for years. Have I made my point clear?
J Crew Basketweave Sandals
You’re probably familiar with Sarah Flint, the shoe line I can’t shut up about and the same one that’s beloved by Meghan Markle and essentially everyone else who’s ever worn them. The brand is famous for their Perfect Pump and in breaking footwear news, they’ve also just unveiled their most recent innovation: the Perfect Sandal. When I say innovation, I mean it. It took three years to design this thing—and there’s a reason why.
