Last week, I shared with everyone that I’ve been testing this Barcelona-based brand, ISDIN, over the past few months. I have really loved the results, and I’m ready to give it the Monday Memo stamp of approval. (There’s no literal stamp, though I’m considering having one made.) The brand’s expertise lies in treating the effects of photoaging, which is the premature aging of the skin caused by repeated exposure to ultraviolet radiation. Until recently, this brand had only been available through dermatologists and after I posted about it to Instagram, the DMs flew in praising the brand, and sharing success stories. Clearly we feel similarly passionate and agree that we need to take our love far and wide. In addition to my own positive experience, I also loved hearing how many of you were turned onto this brand by your dermatologist—which always boosts confidence in a product line. I’ve tested many of their products, and so far my favorites include: the Eryfotona mineral sunscreen, the Flavo-C Ultraglican Anti-Aging Serum Ampoules, and the Melatonik Night Serum.

Thanks to Lancôme and Bloomingdales for partnering on this post! As always, all thoughts and opinions are my own.
Fun fact: In the past, I haven’t been that into face creams. I know, it’s like we don’t even know each other anymore. My skincare cravings have always led me to focus on serums and products with specific active ingredients (your retinol booster, your vitamin C serum, etc.). Face creams were then the product I used to lock all the good stuff in. While there is some truth to this—your moisturizer does help seal in other products—I’ve learned after testing a few high-quality face creams that I was wrong, so very wrong. Face creams can be much so much more than just the icing on the cake. They can make a great deal of difference—when you find the right one.
