As I mentioned last week, the Net-A-Porter shoe sale is your best chance to get countless designer shoes for spring at 15% off. The sale ends TOMORROW, and it is obviously better to have shopped and saved than to never have shopped at all. This is a private sale not open to the public on their site, so click here for promo code details and my sale picks.

While I do adore a good chic leather luggage tag, I can’t seem to stop having them destroyed every time we fly, and enough is honestly enough. I’m changing my tune and shopping these sleek acrylic tags via Etsy instead, and while you can certainly get them with chic leather strings, I’m opting for the metal straps that will keep them securely on our luggage. I love the minimalist design and also appreciate that the information is being engraved on the tags which means that it can’t be removed or damaged if it gets wet. The affordability factor also makes re-ordering new tags if you move or change your phone number no issue at all.

Rachel Zoe has just launched handbags and footwear and it is honestly the best news my closet has heard in quite some time. I cannot wait to make this absolutely essential tote my own for any and all chic to-and-fro schlepping, and these slides are going to make their debut on my feet the very second the weather allows for visible toes.

So, can we talk about Zimmerman’s new collection for spring? Because I’m not sure I’ve ever bought so many items from one new collection drop in my entire life. When I tell you the entire thing took my breath away, I’m not kidding. I fainted. My haul (that I had to seriously whittle down) includes the following: this romance right here, this sartorial fairy tale, this reason I wish it was 70 degrees right now, and this outstanding achievement in skirt (plus its matching blouse). I don’t know whether to hang them in my closet or frame them on my wall, honestly. They’re definitely investment pieces, but I can truly say I will be wearing each piece well into my seventies. Major cost-per-wear win.

In this week’s episode of “I’m turning into my mother,” I have to say that I am truly madly deeply LIVING FOR my new Kindle Oasis. First of all, this reader is waterproof. Did you hear me?! Get in the tub and read stress-free, people! Beyond that, it can sync and seamlessly move between Audible audiobook listening and Kindle reading and will keep your place wherever you are. This means I can listen to my book when I need to be hands-free, then when transitioning back to reading in bed later at night, the Kindle takes me right to the page where I stopped listening. Also, it has adjustable warm lighting options so that you can read in bed without causing eye strain or telling your brain that it’s daylight outside, so falling asleep after a good chapter or two (or seven) has never been easier.

Probiotics have countless health benefits including immune system support and improved digestion, so I am a huge fan. It is important though to use a good probiotic, and this is the one I use and absolutely love. It’s a liquid probiotic that’s 100% organic, and extremely highly rated. If you’ve been looking for an effective probiotic to try, this is my strong suggestion.

Hello, I’m Mary and I bought the exact same pants three times because I live in constant fear they’ll stop making them and I need a stockpile to last me until my dying day. I am in LOVE with these stretchy black pants. First, know that the reviews are misleadingly low. I think that most likely has to do with the confusing name. They’re called the “Boardroom” pant, and I think shoppers are expecting something more formal than what they actually are. What they actually are is a pair of incredibly versatile and flattering high-waisted pants in a chic ponte knit, with an elongating stitched center line down each leg. I wear them with basically everything, but you can check out how I’ve styled them with oversized cardigans here and here.

Not all tweezers are made alike, anyone who has ever tweezed will know this. Ladies and gents, I’m here to tell you that Revlon’s Ceramic Tip Slant Tweezers are the best tweezers ever created by humans. They are new and sort of look like weird robot tweezers—so suffice to say these aren’t the same pair you’ve been casually rolling by at Target all these years. They’re hot off the tweezer presses (a real thing), and they’re better than any I’ve ever used. Ever. Go forth and tweeze triumphantly, my friends.

I recently realized that everyone who comes to my house comments on my paper towels. I had simply assumed everyone knew about these incredibly soft, highly absorbent, wonderfully effective paper towel wonders. Turns out, I’m on the cutting edge of paper towel trends which is a merit badge I’ll gladly wear (lol even though I’m pretty sure this brand has been around forever). Keep these as your standard go-to for mess management, you won’t regret it.

It’s safe to say I’m now thoroughly obsessed with the long shorts and culottes we’re seeing come through as spring trends. I recently bought these in both black and brown leather, and cannot wait to style them throughout spring and summer. You might even catch me wearing them with a sweater or two come fall.

Hmmm. I loved the look of the Bailey 44 black pants, but according to their chart, I’d had to have no more than a 16” waist (and 17″ hips — each, maybe?). I don’t think even Scarlett could claim that. Also, if that model is wearing even a 30″ inseam, and the pants drag on the ground, then the photo is horribly photo shopped! Even if the measurements are metric, it still doesn’t make sense.
Can you shed some light? Thanks!
When measurements seem absurdly small like these it’s presumed they’re taken laying flat. So an XS at 12.75″ across the waist and 14.5″ across the hips would fit a 25.5″ waist, 29″ hips. And yeah, I agree, the inseam measurements don’t quite fit the image portrayed by the model with the flooding pant hem, but my guess is the model’s petite + the pants look crazy longer than the noted inseam due to the high waistline (remember inseam is measured crotch to hem). I personally trust Mary’s opinions on things since she’s putting her reputation on the line by suggesting basically anything. I’m actually considering trying them for my post-baby bod come end of May (I desperately want to burn all my leggings once baby’s born…). And if anything, Amazon has a good return policy so I’ll just return ’em if they don’t work for me!
Those two Zimmerman shirt dresses are beautiful and dreamy! I wish I had a taller frame to pull these styles off. *sigh* Looking forward to both 70-degree weather and future posts where you model them, Mary!
