Lands End Turtlenecks
I never thought I’d have strong feelings about turtleneck thickness, but here we are. I was admiring a family member’s PERFECT turtleneck recently and she kindly divulged that it was, indeed, from Lands’ End. While some are so thin you can’t wear them solo, and others are so thick they’re uncomfortable to layer, these are the perfect happy medium that can do both. A lesson in versatility.

Oversized Hair Bows
I recently shared a video on Instagram showing you my favorite way to style oversized bow barrettes. The trick to this look (and preventing yourself from looking like a toddler or a founding father) is creating a chignon or messy bun and placing the bow above and to the side (the asymmetry is key!). We loved hair bows as kids, and they’ve been overlooked for too long. It’s time to scoop up a few modern versions for 2020. I love these beauties that I found on Etsy, the prices are amazing and they come in so many wearable colors.

If you’ve ever wondered what items I currently have sitting in shopping carts across the internet, allow me to let you in on that charming part of my life. At present, this necklace is calling to me, it’s by Laura Lombardi, a brand I absolutely love, and will be mine sooner rather than later. Such a good versatile piece to have at the ready.

Hi, hello, I’m Mary and I can’t stop shopping Staud maxi dresses. The drama, people! I can’t resist. Or maybe I just don’t want to try. All of their new arrivals are… yep, AMAZING, but I’ve got a soft spot for this white maxi dress and this striped maxi dress as well, which also comes in this gorgeous print (JUST LOOK AT THAT NECKLINE).
Mommy’s Bliss Gripe Water
A very seasoned mom introduced me to this Mommy’s Bliss Gripe Water after Colette was born and GOOD HEAVENS it works like a charm. It contains fennel, and ginger to help soothe your baby when they’re fussy due to fullness, hiccups, gas, colic, etc. We don’t have to use it often, but we we need it, it’s a miracle worker.
Babybjorn Carrier Free
You’re all aware of my Babybjorn obsession by now. We use our bouncers and carriers every single day (sometimes multiple times a day). The latest addition to our ever-growing collection is their baby carrier free which is amazing if your baby likes to face outward. The arm hole placement for the baby’s arm is absolutely perfect and allows her to move them very comfortably. We have it in the Anthracite color option, which makes it versatile for any baby or parent.

Dear Mary, thank you very much for the Farnam Street blog suggestion. I was looking for something like that since a while, so today, still in my bed and experiencing the sickness from my daughter slowly, but surely seeking into me, reading some articles from the blog is my treat.
