I never thought I’d have strong feelings about turtleneck thickness, but here we are. I was admiring a family member's PERFECT turtleneck recently and she kindly divulged that it was, indeed, from Lands' End. While some are so thin you can’t wear them solo, and others are so thick they’re uncomfortable to layer, these are the perfect happy medium that can do both. A lesson in versatility.

We are officially living in the future. These Sunglass Headphones by Bose let you listen to music via your sunglasses without having to stick anything in your ears or squint from sun brightness. Their open-ear audio allows you to stay aware of your surroundings, while enjoying your music, and according to reviewers, you don't sacrifice sound quality. They come in three fantastic unisex sunglass styles and I'm dying to try them. I am all for accessory and gadget consolidation and can’t wait to see what’s next...

Nordstrom is entering the resale game! See You Tomorrow is Nordstrom’s new effort offering extremely high quality, expertly-curated, previously-owned pieces. You can shop online or in the NYC store, and if you're interested in selling some of your own gently-used items, you can make an appointment. If your items are accepted, you'll be paid with a Gift Card redeemable online and in stores at Nordstrom, Nordstrom Rack and HauteLook. This is such a great chance to get your hands on stunning style at a fraction of retail prices.

I recently shared a video on Instagram showing you my favorite way to style oversized bow barrettes. The trick to this look (and preventing yourself from looking like a toddler or a founding father) is creating a chignon or messy bun and placing the bow above and to the side (the asymmetry is key!). We loved hair bows as kids, and they’ve been overlooked for too long. It’s time to scoop up a few modern versions for 2020. I love these beauties that I found on Etsy, the prices are amazing and they come in so many wearable colors.

If you’ve ever wondered what items I currently have sitting in shopping carts across the internet, allow me to let you in on that charming part of my life. At present, this necklace is calling to me, it’s by Laura Lombardi, a brand I absolutely love, and will be mine sooner rather than later. Such a good versatile piece to have at the ready.

Hi, hello, I’m Mary and I can’t stop shopping Staud maxi dresses. The drama, people! I can’t resist. Or maybe I just don’t want to try. All of their new arrivals are... yep, AMAZING, but I’ve got a soft spot for this white maxi dress and this striped maxi dress as well, which also comes in this gorgeous print (JUST LOOK AT THAT NECKLINE).

A very seasoned mom introduced me to this Mommy's Bliss Gripe Water after Colette was born and GOOD HEAVENS it works like a charm. It contains fennel, and ginger to help soothe your baby when they’re fussy due to fullness, hiccups, gas, colic, etc. We don't have to use it often, but we we need it, it's a miracle worker.

You’re all aware of my Babybjorn obsession by now. We use our bouncers and carriers every single day (sometimes multiple times a day). The latest addition to our ever-growing collection is their baby carrier free which is amazing if your baby likes to face outward. The arm hole placement for the baby’s arm is absolutely perfect and allows her to move them very comfortably. We have it in the Anthracite color option, which makes it versatile for any baby or parent.

In this house, we never miss a Farnam Street post. The blog is an amazing resource for advice and self-betterment in all aspects of life. Its readership includes Silicon Valley and Wall Street titans like Dan Loeb and Ray Dalio, among many others. I highly recommend that you subscribe to a little weekly brain food via their newsletter, too.

Dear Mary, thank you very much for the Farnam Street blog suggestion. I was looking for something like that since a while, so today, still in my bed and experiencing the sickness from my daughter slowly, but surely seeking into me, reading some articles from the blog is my treat.
