Shopaholics Anonymous: LISTEN UP.
A few weeks ago, the team at ShopAtHome.com reached out to do a featured interview of me on their website.
This made me very, very angry.
Not the interview. That was rather fun.
But aside from that, their website elicited wild, audible outbursts of anger.
In case you’re in the dark like I was, ShopAtHome.com is a website that provides tons of incredible tools for saving serious do-re-mi shopping online. They provide coupon codes, cash back rebates, and tons of money-saving info through their partnerships with basically everyone you know and love — GAP, J. Crew, Sephora, Target, Asos… need I go on?
Now cue the anger…
HOW DID I NOT KNOW ABOUT THIS ALREADY?
Do you know how much shipping I’ve paid for? How many things I’ve purchased sans coupon code? And I’m sorry, cash back? When did this become a thing? How have I not been invited to the cash back party before??
Nothing about this is okay. I feel like Harry in Dumb and Dumber:
Harry: [shivering] Lloyd, I… I can’t feel my f… fingers anymore Lloyd, they’re numb.
Lloyd: Maybe you should wear these extra gloves, my hands are starting to get sweaty.
Harry: Gloves? You’ve.. had… this pair… of extra gloves… THIS WHOLE TIME?
Lloyd: Uh yea, we’re in the Rockies!
Harry: I’M GOING TO KILL YOU.
Apparently other humans have been enjoying ShopAtHome this whole time without telling me. Awesome. Thanks guys.
If, like me, you have not yet seen the light, head on over to ShopAtHome.com and check out the magic that is shopping online with offensively good discounts and cash back. You can also check out their fabuloso interview with me here.
Lastly, if you need help processing your own anger, this outfit is basically the physical manifestation of mint chocolate chip ice cream. So go get some, eat up, punch a couple walls, feel better, and then go save some moolah with ShopAtHome.
Problem solved.
Dress: Pink Tartan | Jacket: Zara | Scarf: Ann Taylor (similar here and here) | Shoes: Ralph Lauren | Belt (worn backwards): Banana Republic (love this one and this one) | Necklace: old (similar here) | Sunglasses: Prada | Polish: Essie (Fishnet Stockings)
Happy Wednesday!

Whaat? I didn’t know about the cash back option. I did some research and it sounds legit. I always check Retailmenot but I probably missed out on a lot of cash back.
Also, I’m new to your site and I love it! I do have a question. At one point you mentioned that your office is REALLY cold. How do you get along in dresses and sleeveless tops if it’s that cold? Do you use a blanket? Mini space heater? Oversized sweater? Basically, I’m always FREEZING at the office and can’t bear to wear anything besides pants, a blouse, and a sweater or pants and a sweater. And sometimes that isn’t even enough. I don’t know what else to do. Also, unfortunately I travel to different clients, so it’s hard to schlep a bunch of stuff around every day/week.
Ahh, I feel your pain! My office seems to go through periods of time when it’s unbearably cold, and other periods where it’s more tolerable. For those chilly days, I keep either a neutral cardigan or blazer in my office to throw on. By sticking with a neutral color, you can throw it on when you need it without worrying about clashing with different outfits.
While traveling, I’d suggest you plan outfits for the trip that come from the same color palette. This way, you can minimize the amount of extra clothing and accessories you have to bring by mixing and matching those extra needed layers across all of your outfits. For example, if you’re going away for several days, bring a few colorful blouses with a pair of black pants, a black skirt, and a black shift dress. This way, you can bring only one black blazer and black cardigan that will go with every outfit, instead of bringing a blazer and/or cardigan for each outfit separately.
Hope this helps!!
That dress looks like the synonymous of elegance, and I love the touch of the scarf.

Oh my goodness – this is hilarious! I work at ShopAtHome.com, but it’s always great to see a reaction from somebody else when they learn about cash back (especially because my reaction was shockingly similar!).
Amazing! Happy saving. 🙂
In love with this dress! Beautiful color 🙂
That dress is stunning on you! I love the color – very elegant how you styled it! I’ve never heard of that store, but definitely am going to check it out – esp from your reaction! xo
Hii, I would love to know how you style your hair everyday. Also, when getting a cut like that, what exactly do (did) you ask for?
Your stylish yet modest fashion is very inspiring and encouraging; Thank you for all of your diligent uploads.
Thank you! My hair is quite thick and naturally straight, so I blow it dry with a round brush and use jumbo hot rollers for a little curl/body. As for the cut, I ask for long layers and side-swept bangs. In my experience, however, these descriptions seem to mean radically different things to different hair sylists. I personally have had the most success when I find pictures of haircuts I like, print them out, and actually show them to the stylist.
Hope this is helpful!
This was helpful! Yes, your right so I am going to print out your hair photo…oh wait, can I do that?
Do you use the rollers in the night or the morning while getting ready?
How does it look if you air dry it? Can you still see a style to your hair or you must blow dry it with a brush to see that?
These pictures are jaw-dropping. STUNNING in every way! I’m obsessed with your blog!
you look amazing! your dress is super gorgeous! i really love your blog
You are right….this is the perfect shade of mint! It would compliment any skin tone.
Sidebar:I LOVE mint chocolate chip ice cream! We have a local company here that makes a mint choc chip, but they don’t dye the ice cream green. They just add the mint flavor.
Weird.
Very pretty dress…..& you rock it like no other!!!!
