    Fair Isle Sweater

Fair Isle is, for some reason, hard for designers to get right, so when something this perfect hits shelves, it typically sells out immediately. When I spotted this glorious knit, I don’t think I’ve ever checked out so quickly. It’s pretty much all I want to wear this winter. *chef’s kiss*

    NYC Toile

Since we plan on being away from our beloved NYC for the foreseeable future, you better believe I’ll be infusing my Midwestern home with touches from the Big Apple, starting with Katie Kime’s New York Toile. Have you ever seen anything so charming? The wallpaper is stunning, but there are so many other gifts and home goods to choose from. I think I’m kicking things off with this coaster set…

If you are indeed going to be baking with apples this fall, might I suggest a heavy-duty die cast magnesium alloy peeler, corer, and spiralizer? It makes short work of an annoying task, and will last you season after season. When apple season ends, you’ll find it useful with lots of other types of produce including tomatoes and potatoes. Also, things with hand cranks are just fun.

    A Guide To Fall Apples

I love this guide to fall apples from Goop. It gets right to the point and isn’t an overwhelming assessment of every varietal on the planet, just the ones that will really impact your baking, cooking, and indeed snacking on a daily basis this fall. While we’re at it, after you learn which apples are best for baking, BAKE THIS CARAMEL APPLE SKILLET CAKE. I have strong feelings about cake.

    Perfect Waffle Knit Joggers

I’m calling it. Fall 2020 is the season of the waffle knit. This extremely comfy knit can be found in some of fall’s coziest loungewear options, and none are better than the Z Supply joggers. Comfortable, easy, they’re a nap in pant form and I’m in love. I might also add that their matching top is called the CELINE WAFFLE LONG SLEEVE so what am I gonna do, not buy it?

    Fall Tea

In addition to wearing sleeves, we can drink tea again without melting into a puddle of our former selves. How exciting! I love fall flavors, and if you’re already overwhelmed by the pumpkin section of Trader Joe’s, opt for a classic, cozy fall tea like a spiced apple chai. Book and throw blanket choices, I leave to you.

    H&M Cable Knit Cardigan

H&M’s new fall arrivals are good, very good indeed, and I’m starting things off with this cable knit (can you believe I’m saying these words) cardigan that will be extremely useful for WFH days, as it’s easy to throw atop essentially anything and look cozy-polished which is very much a real thing. I also have eyes for this burgundy coat (another word I’m so excited to say out loud much less add to cart), it’s a wool blend with a slouchy, oversized shirt-like vibe, so I’ll keep things crisp underneath, but can we all just pause to appreciate shopping for…

    We Bought A House!

It’s official. Rich and I recently bought a home in Wisconsin, making us officially bi-coastal! We’re not saying goodbye to NYC, and look forward to dividing our time between cities once it’s safe to do so, but for now we’re so excited to settle into our Milwaukee home. Colette’s been very forthcoming with her thoughts on decor. Lucky me. Look for more details via this post on Instagram! I also did a thorough moving Q&A which you can find in my Instagram highlights.
