You’ve heard me wax on about the leopard trend in the past several months, and these linen cropped pants are one of my favorite finds to date. Their elastic ruffle waist adds a supreme level of comfort while ensuring a spectacular fit. Meanwhile, the linen fabric is an absolutely dynamite choice for summer—offering all the lightweight breathability of linen on hot summer days (brace yourselves, they’re almost here!) while the leopard print covers up any tendency the linen fabric might have to wrinkle easily.
I’m always wary of leopard prints that can look cheap, and am happy to report that these look as good in person as they do in the photos. The print is bright and desaturated, making these pantaloons the ideal statement staple for summer workdays or weekend jaunts.
As we’ve previously discussed, there are all sorts of amazing retro shirting trends surfacing this spring, and the polo shirt is no exception. The nostalgia of the classic polo adds an extra cool element to the ensemble, while still maintaining a sleek and simple aesthetic to offset the dramatic trouser. I can already tell this will be the MVP of my summer tops line-up.
