DRESS: Rebecca Taylor (40% off!) | SHIRT: Theory | BOOTS: Stuart Weitzman | TIGHTS: Wolford | JACKET: old, but similar here and here | LIP: Makeup Forever (#28)

Per my instagram and snapchat, I got a lot of use out of this dress over the holidays, and wore it again this past weekend. While it’s a little too short on me for the office (because I’m 5’10”), I think it would work for a lot of you who are a bit more petite. It is one of the lightest, most comfortable dresses I own, and with the perfect mix of lace and pleats, it can easily be worn jumper-style with a white oxford layered underneath or on its own to a cocktail party. Major versatility with this guy.

Such an inspiring outfit!! Perfect school girl chic look!

You almost have a preppy school girl look going on there. But then putting on the leather jacket and you get a hint of naughtiness. Lace and leather…do I detect a potential blog name there?
Yes…it’d probably be a maxi dress on me (ha ha!!).
I just wanted to say the trick of belting just the front of the cape from yesterday was perfect for my client as we were trying things on in the afternoon!! You rock! jodie

Such a cute dress! I love the lace detail and how you paired the look with the OTK boots and leather jacket for an edgy feel.

Lace and pleats….What an interesting combination. You styled nicely with OTK boots (that are always perfect with the dress) and leather jacket. The white shirt underneath is giving that outfit a preppy feel everyone is talking about. Overall very interesting play of textures.

I can’t believe it’s a dress. I thought there were two separate pieces. Love it! 🙂
