I’m sorry if you’re sick of seeing these culottes, but as you can probably tell from the frequency with which they’ve appeared here on Memorandum recently, they’re still my favorite fall staple. I sported this all-ivory look in NYC last week during fashion week and aside from spilling coffee all over my top and pants later in the day, I thought it was a winning monochromatic look. Cheers to one more day of coffee chugging before the weekend… Happy Friday!

Love the blazer. Love the sale price. I’ve been looking for a blaze just like this. Is it the same one you styled a while back with (I think) black pants? My only complaint is that this label and so many others have such an unrealistic size chart. Size 10 is large….really? Not everyone is pencil thin like the runway models. Considering the average size for a lady in the U.S. is 14, they are deliberately not producing clothing for over 1/2 of the population. I love that you provide alternatives in different price ranges. Could you maybe do the same for sizing? Thanks for all your styling suggestions. You always look great.

What’s your opinion on white in the fall and winter, does it need to be ivory or winter white?
Is it the fabric as well that makes a difference?
I have a white pencil skirt and would love to wear it this fall. I live in Victoria, British Columbia and it can be quite mild on most fall days.

I got the cream WHBM culottes (LOVE) but am unsure of the length they should be to flatter my frame. I am 5’8″ with a curvy athletic frame. I got the regular length (23″ inseam) but they hit lower (bottom of my calf or 6″ above the top of my foot) than the pair you model.
I’d love any insight you can share on how to choose the correct culotte length!! I don’t mind having my pair altered. ????
