Today, I’m excited to share round two of my Triple Threat series (if you missed the last one, shame on you, check it out here ; ).  The basic striped t-shirt is a classic, but for me, it has lately only made it out of my closet paired with boyfriend jeans for Sunday brunch (see evidence here).   The Triple Threat series is all about exploring multiple ways to wear favorite wardrobe staples, and since the striped tee is a timeless, seasonless staple, I thought it would be a perfect piece to highlight today—especially because February is that awkward in-between month when you’re not necessarily inclined to add to your winter wardrobe, but you’re not fully convinced that Spring is actually going to happen this year either.

For the office, the striped tee looks great with a simple pencil skirt and pumps, but you can amp up your workwear game even more with a little print mixing by pairing the top with a floral skirt (also love this one and this one). For Casual Friday at work, a sleek pair of jeans and camel blazer are the perfect companions for the striped t-shirt (see me in similar look here), making up a comfy and cool ensemble for a relaxed day at the office.  The look is polished off with the addition of my favorite Everlane loafers (probably favorite loafers period. EVER.) which somehow read both masculine, feminine and all-together now now now. The last ensemble is the ultimate weekend look.  The bandana is the perfect touch to give an otherwise basic outfit just the right oomph, and these sneakers?  NOM.  I just received them in the mail and haven’t removed them from my feet in two days… which made for an interesting shower experience, but was worth it nonetheless.
