I’ve been on the hunt for an olive parka for a long time, and this one was well worth the wait. It’s so cozy and was just the jacket I needed in the cold, rainy weather we’ve had in San Francisco recently. It’s definitely top of my packing list for when I brave even harsher weather in Wisconsin at Christmas time.
As you can probably guess, this navy tuxedo is easily the favorite workwear addition to my closet of late. With an ideal fit, the perfect navy/black combo, and just the right menswear touches, it’s getting a lot of use already. It’s the perfect year-round staple, and I’m thinking of snatching up the matching dress as well to complete the set. As I’ve mentioned many times before, there’s nothing better in terms of flexibility and bang for your buck than getting multiple pieces that go with the same suit jacket.
This silver watch is definitely a new favorite that hasn’t left my wrist since it emerged from the box. The perfect size—big but not too big—it’s just the right menswear finishing touch.
As a nod to the holiday season, I paired the suit with this faux fur topper. It was just the festive touch I needed to make the classic look feel seasonally appropriate. It’s amazing how an accessory or topper like this one can turn an otherwise season-free outfit into the perfect holiday look!

Speaking of the holidays, if you haven’t checked out the 2015 Holiday Memo yet, definitely flip through!
