H&M Online Launch!

H&M Online Launch!

Today, I’m thrilled to be partnering with H&M for the official launch of their e-commerce site in the United States!  I’ll be honest, when H&M first approached me weeks ago about the collaboration, I wasn’t super familiar with their merchandise and didn’t know if they’d have a lot of office-ready pieces.  I don’t post anything that I don’t genuinely endorse, so I had to do a little leg work to make sure it was the right fit… After about 30 seconds in their giant Fifth Avenue store that I’m pretty sure the state of Rhode Island could fit into, my arms were overloaded with amazing pieces and I had hardly scratched the surface.  In fact, I was so embarrassingly over-zealous upon entrance that items were continually falling out of my arms as I raced around the floors like an oddly competitive five-year-old on an easter egg hunt.  After observing this extreme awkwardness, a clerk finally pointed out all of the large shopping totes they provide psychos shoppers like me which are planted throughout the store in super obvious places.  Of course, this tip was divulged only after I had inadvertently knocked over an entire stack of sweaters with a rogue hanger that was jutting out from my over-stuffed arms.  Great job, Mary.Despite this unfortunate (though not uncommon) level of self-inflicted humiliation at my local H&M store, I was officially converted. Turns out, H&M is kind of… all-around awesome.   In light of this debacle, I’m especially thrilled to announce the long-awaited arrival of their US shopping site.  I’m fairly certain that the staff at my local H&M store are convinced that I either have rabies or some kind of serious neurological disorder given the fact that I acted certifiably insane and was practically frothing at the mouth upon discovery of their amazing clothing at stupidly low prices.  Needless to say, I’m pretty pumped at the prospect of doing the majority of my H&M shopping from the comfort of my living room for the foreseeable future while I attempt to (re)join the witness protection program… Jacket: H&M c/o; Skirt: H&M c/o; Top: H&M c/o; Bracelets: H&M c/o; Rings: H&M c/o; Earrings: H&M c/o; Flower Pin: H&M c/o; Shoes: H&M c/o; Necklace: Leslie Danzis (similar here also love this one from H&M); Polish: Essie (Bangle Jangle); Sunglasses: Prada H&M’s 50 STATES OF FASHION CONTEST — GET IN ON THIS: In honor of the e-commerce launch, I’m also pleased to announce H&M’s 50 States of Fashion Contest which commences today.  Although I currently live in New York City, I’m a proud native of the great state of Wisconsin (insert bad cheese-related joke here), and am incredibly excited to have been asked to be the H&M Style Ambassador for my amazing home state.  Regardless of the state you call home, the nation-wide contest starts today and goes for three weeks.  Here’s how to get involved: (1) Upload a photo of yourself on instagram wearing an H&M look and tag it with #HMShopOnlineXX, where the XX stands for your home state (i.e. I will be tagging mine with #HMShopOnlineWI for Wisconsin).  (2) In addition to your instagrams, be sure to visit the microsite, browse the gallery of entries, “like” your favorite looks and sign up for H&M fashion news to receive a special online discount from H&M! The instagram submissions will populate H&M’s 50 States of Fashion microsite where visitors to the site will “like” their favorite looks.  After a three week submission period, H&M, along with an expert panel of style blogger judges, will select five finalists who will each receive a $250 H&M gift card.  In addition to these finalists, the grand prize winner will win a trip to NYC and a shopping spree of $1,000 at H&M!Ok, you’ve got the info now, so GET AFTER IT… Check out even more from The Classy Cubicle on… INSTAGRAM   +  BLOGLOVIN   +  FACEBOOK TWITTER   +  PINTEREST
