Sizing Note: For me, Black Halo typically runs about one size small, so I recommend ordering one size larger than your normal dress size.
If you follow me on instagram you know that I was a guest at my cousin’s wedding in Beaver Creek, Colorado this past weekend… which was ridiculously awesome.  As it happens, this orchid dress that I wore to their black tie nuptials is currently 25% off during the Shopbop Friends & Family Sale!  I would consider that ridiculously awesome as well (though of a less life-altering variety of ridiculous awesomeness than getting married, to be fair).  While it may be the only purple item in my closet, I thought the hue of this dress was perfect for a fall wedding in the mountains, and the style was conducive to many hours of dancing like a rabid maniac.
