While I’m always up for a seasonal refresh of bags and shoes, the accessories I’m most excited about this fall are actually in the hair department. In the last several months I’ve been spotting loads of awesome barrettes, headbands and hair clips springing up across retailers, and guys, I am straight-up jazzed about ’em. While there are some 80s and 90s hair accessory trends that I’m not quite ready to bring back yet (my most terrifying nightmare prominently features a yellow scrunchie), beauties like this sleek leather barrette, this circle hair clip, or this chain link ponytail holder are the kind of hair accessories I can definitely get behind. I wore this favorite thin gold barrette during fashion week in NYC as pictured today, but I’ve got a shopping cart (or two) full of the below favorites that you’ve gotta check out. I promise there are no hair jewels or bun cages. You know I wouldn’t do that to you.
