Founded in 2010 and known for partnering with ethical factories around the globe, Everlane is essentially your dream go-to brand. At amazing price points, they cover everything. Head-to-toe closet staples (that don’t look basic), gorgeous and highly functional accessories (*cough* THESE SHOES YOU GUYS *cough*), and everything in between. All in a plethora of gorgeous colors.
What a great word, plethora.
I recently took this entirely Everlane look for a spin. So I’m now making a beeline back to their new arrivals for all of my wear-everyday items for summer. Here, I’m wearing the Japanese GoWeave Sleeveless Wrap Dress, which comes in four colors and is just $100. It’s made of a drapey, wrinkle-resistant fabric and is absolutely ideal for nonstop work days. It’s very bump friendly, but I appreciate knowing that I’ll be able to wear it seamlessly post-bump as well.
I also like topping it with the brand’s denim jacket, because you know how A/C can get. It’s got the perfect slightly oversized silhouette and such good structure—it’s really the only goes-with-everything jacket you need to pack in your weekend beach bag when temperatures start to climb. Anything else feels silly to carry around.
And because the only thing I love more than a good flat is a good sling-back flat in a STUNNING SILHOUETTE that comes in five colors, I’ve opted for the Editor Slingback which will quickly become your workday go-to shoe all summer. Please take a moment to admire the daintiness of the heel strap and that gorgeous squared vamp. So flattering, I might need to go back for this version.
Also, a word on this tote: I love this bag. It is going to get you everywhere this summer, from road trips to park picnics, given its perfect structure that won’t flop over at every opportunity. The fact that it’s open for easy access is actually a huge benefit during summertime activities when you need to be able to quickly and easily get essentials (towels, beach reads, bottle openers, you name it!) in and out without unzipping or unflapping a more complicated tote bag. It comes in seven (yep, seven) colors and at $175 for quality Italian leather you really can’t beat it.
If your closet is less prepared for warm weather than you want it to be, the style shortcut is Everlane. Everything you need for your day-to-day, ethically created, versatile, affordable, high quality and simply so stylish. Since it’s getting warm out there—let’s dress like it.
