Black tie weddings can be tricky! While the men will elevate their looks to tuxedos, women can get away with anything from formal cocktail dresses to ballgowns, depending on the crowd and the venue. Do your best to gauge the event, finding out what the hostess (typically the mother of the bride) and other guests plan to wear. If you’re still stumped, go with a classic floor-length dress like this emerald green number!

May I ask where you got this absolutely gorgeous emerald green dress?
Thank you!
Where is this dress from?
Hi Katie,
It is a Reformation dress. Here is the link for you 🙂 https://shopstyle.it/l/VmR0

Hi – did you alter the front of the dress at all? It seems to be more low cut on The Reformation website but not on you.
Hi Sarah,
It’s a wrap dress so you can leave it as open or closed as you prefer. I preferred to have the neckline end a little higher, so I closed it more tightly and added a little pin on the inside to keep it secure.

Beautiful dress, love the shoes too- where are they from?
Hi Olivia,
The shoes are from Miu Miu and unfortunately they are sold out, but here is a link to the dress for you https://shopstyle.it/l/bjui1
