While I’m all about layering turtlenecks, t-shirts and button-ups underneath dresses throughout the fall and winter, today, I thought I’d do a little layering on top. It’s a good reminder that you can give new life to dresses through styling tricks like layering, belting or accessorizing. Today’s look also serves as a reminder that even if your office holiday party is a super casual affair, you can still rock it in holiday style. Choose something that fits with the dress code at your office, and amp it up with color, print and/or accessories. A colorful plaid is always a killer way to be effortlessly festive. Throw a sweater on top, add a fun heel and your look has plenty of that extra “something” to make even the most casual holiday party merry and bright!
