It is with great joy that I styled this outfit specifically for your next winter bridal shower. I know other seasons love to stake their claim on florals, but I’ll wear all the blooms I want year-round, thank you very much.
My selection for a bridal shower this year is the Stargaze Dress by floral champion extraordinaire, Yumi Kim. The dress is a midi-length mock turtleneck in slinky jersey fabric. It’s a dress that’s deceptively easy to wear and ridiculously comfortable, which works in your favor during wedding-focused events with end times that are… unclear. This piece will keep you comfy through whatever games and festivities your hosts have in store.

The dark, inky canvas gives great support to the delicate pastel shades of the florals, and gives the entire dress a tone that’s not too spring-y. There are a number of colors in this print to play with in terms of accessories, but pink is standing out to me as the one that gives the look the most chic, feminine complement.
You could also very easily accessorize it with your standard black shoe/bag combinations, but as you can see here I’ve opted for a little more color because I felt like it and also because the baby was giving me side-eye. The dress does have a contrast at the waist but to embellish that a bit more I’ll be adding the love of my life (don’t tell Rich) my vintage gold Chanel chain belt.

Could you wear this to a winter wedding?
LOVE this dress – literally just ordered it. Question/favor/small request… can you post which size you purchased in the post? Not being super familiar with some of the brands in 30 Dresses, it would be super helpful to derisk what will inevitably be a future purchase!
Hi Kara,
I’ve got some great wedding guest suggestions coming up. Stay tuned!:-)

Update! I got this dress in the mail and wore it yesterday to the office and to a work function in the evening and complete strangers were asking me where it was from. Fantastic purchase!
